    It was a 7 run game, typical to give a bench player an at bat in that situation. And remember he can not be traded so we need to accept that fact because he is here until his contract is up unless he changes his mind.

    You can't just put someone on the IL, there has to be a verifiable injury, we all know that. And they are not going to sit him, he is the most talented player on the team. And yes it stinks about the injuries he has had. But he is going to be the focal point of this team until either Jenkins comes up and is able to have the mantle passed to him if he becomes the player they hope or they sign another superstar free agent.

    He's picking his spots of when to turn it on just like the other night on the diving catch.

    Is he on the IL, no he is not, so he is playing. He is dinged up and has to manage the hip issue but it obviously is not injured enough to be on the IL regardless of what we may think or want.

    I get that even though I don't like the other options. My main point if they are not going to sit Larnach for ERod or Jenkins they sure aren't going to sit him for Roden.

    Roden should be on the bench, we have better options that they refuse to utilize. So at this point it will be Larnach in LF. Buxton isn't going anywhere as long as he is healthy.

    They don't even trust Jackson to pinch hit in a 7 run game. He hasn't had a plate appearance in almost 3 weeks. Someone please objectively explain why he is even on the roster and the corporate speak Shelton tried to sell us on.

    He is the 8th guy in the bullpen who has had some moments. Who else is there to put in there, there is no one performing in St. Paul. Adams is at the bottom of list of worries for the Twins.

    We have to get the offense going, it is easier pitching with a comfortable lead rather than always having to be on the edge.

    Yeah, Morris had no help from the defense in his inning.

    They use Adams, I am not even sure if Jackson is in the dugout since we haven't seen in a few weeks.

    I thought I had turned to the Little League World Series by accident.

    The runs were all earned, the error had no impact on any of the runs.

    Caratini has not looked good lately. But honestly how can you play Jackson at this point when he hasn't been behind the plate for over a month. You have to ride it out with him, but ride Jeffers harder. Jeffers needs to be playing 5 days a week.

    He is in the lineup everyday so it is hard to argue that he's not healthy.

    If he is active, he is playing, there is no other option for someone like Buxton. If he says he can play and is not injured, they aren't going to put him on the IL. There is a difference between being dinged up and injured. But they aren't going to sit him, he is our best player and it stinks that he may not be 100% right now but he is going to be in the lineup every day no matter what we say. He has earned that right.

    And is second on the team in RBI's hitting typically hitting in the lower part of the lineup. I think he is a good building block moving forward.

    The hip is not going to be 100% until he can rest it in the offseason, I don't think they have hidden that fact. He is going to pick his spots when to turn it on, just like the other night when he made the diving catch. I do wish he would picked that as another spot but he didn't.

    I know you are out there but they are doing what they have been doing all year. They have stretches where they put it together and then they have these stretches where they play poorly. San Diego is a nice city but they have been flying into cities a day early all year long when there is an off day and there are things to do in all the major league cities. So I am not sure how this would be any different.
