    Mauer with another day off of 1st. Makes no sense at all. He’s had to have roughly 1 in 4 games off when he is the best defender on the team besides Byron. Also giving Rosario the day off. Makes no sense on the Mauer front. Go twins.

    Cut the bait on Hughes, and call up Alan. If you're going to have an 8 man pen, you gotta be wiling to use all 8. Really shows in a game like todays. Nice write up.

    Adrianza is slow for a shortstop, despite what Dick says. I'd have held him there, with 1 out and Mauer (I think) coming up. if they walk him, either let wilson or Petit hit for a potential sac fly. Oh well. Twins need to bite the bullet on Hughes. If you're going to have an 8 man bullpen, you gotta be willing to use all 8. Call up Moya/Curtiss and let them pitch on days like today. Reed/Duke/Pressly are going to been burnt out. Let's win tomorrow. Go Twins!

    Need a 6+ inning start from Romero today with hildy, Duke, and Rodney throwing the last 2 days, and pressly and duke throwing a high number of pitches yesterday. Great win. However, bats have to stop disappearing for multiple innings at a time.

    Twins are not bringing in a catcher now, st the deadline, or next season. Castro is the front offices guy, as he was there first signing I think. Garver is more than capable as a backup. The Ramos horse, is in fact, dead.

    TWINS WIN!! Great job by garver and the bullpen (well, most of it) I wouldn’t be sad if I never had to watch Rodney pitch again, or listen to torii announce. Or both. Huge win. If we somehow walk out of LA with a win tomorrow I will feel very confident. Go twins.
