    How about Luke Bard?
  2. John Kelsey
This BP session seems longer than normal, lets get this game started already.
  3. John Kelsey
    Buxton starting tonight
  4. John Kelsey
I got tickets through work and don't have to be in the office today so I can't complain.....but I'm going to anyways. Swarzak.......REALLY?
  5. John Kelsey
So we've got a nice run of Kris Johnson, Yohan Pino, and Anthony Swarzak starting a series. Who saw that coming at the beginning of the year?
  6. John Kelsey
"Morales is going for two, oh my goodness" Dick could not have said it better.
  7. John Kelsey
Soooo does Nick Burdi still throw hard?
  8. John Kelsey
That could be part of it, but it's certainly not a good enough reason to keep a kid down who's hitting like he is.

    Keys house cake
  10. John Kelsey
Different position, but Mitch Garver hit THREE home runs today. He could be in line for a promotion soon also.
  11. John Kelsey
Max Murphy is absolutely crushing. I think it's time to see what he can do at Cedar Rapids.
  12. John Kelsey
He's out of the lineup again today...
  13. John Kelsey
Nice night for the kid tonight. 3-4 with a walk and a triple.
  14. John Kelsey
Gordon has slowed down a bit but Murphy is absolutely crushing it. He should get moved up soon if he continues to hit like this.
  15. John Kelsey
    Make it 18

Yikes! What a bomb by Gallo.
  17. John Kelsey
    4 pitch inning for Meyer.

So Deduno takes his spot in the rotation for now presumably?
  20. John Kelsey
I can't tell you how happy it makes me that someone is finally questioning this. I've mentioned this in casual conversation a few times and never understood why it isn't discussed more often.
  21. John Kelsey
    This can't be right....
  22. John Kelsey
Where should I start? Not even a remotely similar situation to Hicks.
  23. John Kelsey
Hughes Gibson Nolasco (cringe) Meyer May Darnell/Johnson/Gilmartin filling in when necessary and Berrios challenging at the end of the year.
  24. John Kelsey
Take a look at the number Berrios put up in his first full season of pro ball at Cedar Rapids last year. That transition is not an easy one. Stewart is still VERY young, and is pitching better than Berrios did at the same level and roughly the same age. He'll be just fine.

I'm seeing Mason Melotakis on the New Britain roster as well, so apparently he was also called up.
