Engelb Vielma beginning to hit is really intriguing. He's not often factored in the future SS talks but if he can keep hitting he definitely has the glove to stick there. Plus, he just turned 21 and is very young for his level.
This kid is having some really impressive ABs early on. It's really early and teams probably haven't found his weakness yet (looks like it could be high fastballs), but I think he'll be able to stick the rest of the year. I'm much more confident that he'll be able to keep it going than I am with Rosario.
Nope, just seemed like a good long weekend to make the drive down. Caught a game at Wrigley and ate italian beef, Chicago dogs, and deep dish until I couldn't move so it was pretty typical in that regard. We saw plenty of deadheads though.
Buuut Brandon Peterson has just kept on rolling into AA and JT Chargois has been a pleasant surprise. Peterson has to be one of the most underrated Twins prospects.
