  1. And the best part, of course, is that his name is easily Gardy'd. Welcome aboard Cottsy!
  2. After watching neither of them play ever, I can say definitively that he is.
  3. I heard one of his home run balls last night hit the roof over at First Ave.
  4. O'Rourke is as advertised against lefties. Yikes.
  5. That's a tough call, I think he's out but I don't think they overturn it.
  6. I can't believe anyone is ok with Santana still starting at short; he's a trainwreck. Stick Escobar there and be done with it.
  7. Engelb Vielma beginning to hit is really intriguing. He's not often factored in the future SS talks but if he can keep hitting he definitely has the glove to stick there. Plus, he just turned 21 and is very young for his level.
  8. This kid is having some really impressive ABs early on. It's really early and teams probably haven't found his weakness yet (looks like it could be high fastballs), but I think he'll be able to stick the rest of the year. I'm much more confident that he'll be able to keep it going than I am with Rosario.
  9. Is Bert really comparing Tommy Hunter's career to Trevor May's?
  10. Sorry about that, my evil twin who happens to be an Orioles fan took over the keyboard and posted this. I trusted Duensing all along.
  11. Sano has had some really good ABs tonight.
  12. He probably shouldn't have had to catch it like that, but......holy ****!
  13. Nope, just seemed like a good long weekend to make the drive down. Caught a game at Wrigley and ate italian beef, Chicago dogs, and deep dish until I couldn't move so it was pretty typical in that regard. We saw plenty of deadheads though.
  14. I was in Chicago all of last weekend so this will be the first time I can sit down and watch Sano. Wouldn't be a bad night for career homer #1 of 800.
  15. This won't happen. If Giancarlo couldn't do it in the derby, Sano won't do it in a game.
  16. Buuut Brandon Peterson has just kept on rolling into AA and JT Chargois has been a pleasant surprise. Peterson has to be one of the most underrated Twins prospects.
  17. What has Jorge Polanco done to prove that he is MLB ready? He has a .745 OPS in AA to go along with below average SS defense. He might be a better option than Santana, because Santana has been the worst player in the majors this year, but I'd be much more comfortable with Escobar there than Polanco. For the record, I agree that Sano, Kepler, and Berrios, deserve to be promoted but I don't see it with Polanco.
