  1. I wanna say he is #68? May have to double check that...
  2. They are as much a part of thr game as anyone else. When do they become eligible for HOF?
  3. Stop the presses. Boston gets a baserunner off of Dobnak. Via catcher's interference. And Garver comes out. Hope he's okay!
  4. 5-0 entering second bottom, courtesy of a Donaldson homer and Buxton bases clearing double. CBU.
  5. Thanks for the details! I like the phrasing Asian language, which in context doesn't mean they have a portion of the contract written in Asian, but that there is an English section pertaining to the event an opportunity to play in Asia comes to fruition. And having watched one video on a tweet about Law, something about his demeanor reminds me of Colon. I hope we see him on the Twins mound sometime this season, though i am patient, if nothing else.
  6. 1. Enrique Hernandez (R ) DH 2. Jarren Duran ( L) CF 3. Hunter Renfroe (R ) RF 4. Rafael Devers ( L) 3B 5. Christian Vazquez (R ) C 6. Marwin Gonzalez ( S ) LF 7. Bobby Dalbec (R ) 1B 8. Christian Arroyo (R ) SS 9. Michael Chavis (R ) 2B And i'll take friendly suggestions for the other holes in the previous post. Although while you are thinking about it, i offer this: As apparently it got dubbed into Hungarian by a poet laureate, and got an entire generation into poetry.
  7. Incomplete lineups for the game tonight at 5: Minnesota: 0. Randy Dobnak (R ) P 1. Mitch Garver (R ) C 2. Josh Donaldson (R ) 3B 3. Nelson Cruz (R ) DH 4. Kyle Garlick (R ) RF 5. Miguel Sano (R ) 1B 6. Byron Buxton (R ) CF 7. Andrelton Simmons (R ) SS 8. Luis Arraez ( L) 2B 9. Jake Cave ( L) LF Boston: 0. Martin Perez ( L) P Incomplete intro: Hello my name is ___ I will be your ___ for this game. Pardon me while i put on some ___ as mood music. Now isn't that nice? So, what seems to be the problem?
  8. I don't believe he is on the 40 man roster yet, so no options used to send him to a minor league team. As whosafraid said, the question is whether his deal has an opt out or not, as minor league deals to major league players often (but not always) do. Anyway, he has certainly put up the numbers. We'll see soon enough how it plays out.
  9. My bad. Curse my pudgy fingers, i wasn't fast enough...
  10. I just post something, and it changes, Larnach plants one in the stands (in fair territory) so we are only down 1 now.
  11. Oh, yeah top if the 8th, down 7-5. This has been your friendly neighborhood circus boy update.
  12. Lineups are posted pretty early, eh? Game is... March, 24 12:05pm cdt Twins: 0. Michael Pineda (R ) P 1. Max Kepler ( L) RF 2. Josh Donaldson (R ) 3B 3. Nelson Cruz (R ) DH 4. Miles Mastrobuoni ( L) RF Which is about 4 hours from now. What can i do for 4 hours?
  13. Well... having recently caught up on many marvel movies, Spiderman didn't get to be an Avenger until Captain America quit. Just think of Kirilloff as our friendly neighborhood Spidey. Unless of course Cleveland takes their old mascot back. And don't worry. Now we can cross the river to see him play in St. Paul. Would Rooker then be Ant-man?
  14. I am happy to have Keon in the system, and realize that not being on the 40 man means we likely will only see him in case of a 60 day injury, or a trade, as we will give the outfielders on the 40 man every chance to succeed. If i am able to roam through the Twin cities this summer, i assume getting St. Paul ticket will be easier? So i am glad they have good players there,
  15. At least we kept it close.
  16. Despite our starting Pitcher, i gotta give the scrabble advantage to the Pirates with Gonzalez and Frazier... Hope we get the triple word scores! Twins: 0. Griffin Jax (R ) P 1. Luis Arraez ( L) LF 2. Mitch Garver (R ) C 3. Jake Cave ( L) CF 4. Miguel Sano (R ) 1B 5. Brent Rooker (R ) RF 6. Kyle Garlick (R ) DH 7. Willians Astudillo (R ) 3B 8. JT Riddle ( L) SS 9. Andrew Romine ( S ) 2B Pirates: 0. Chase De Jong (R ) P 1. Adam Frazier ( L) 2B 2. Ke'Bryan Hayes (R ) 3B 3. Bryan Reynolds ( S ) LF 4. Gregory Polanco ( L) RF 5. Will Craig (R ) 1B 6. Jacob Stallings (R ) C 7. Brian Goodwin ( L) CF 8. Erik Gonzalez (R ) SS 9. Cole Tucker ( S ) DH Same bat time, same bat channel.
  17. Oh yeah... Winnah! Oh Yeah!
  18. Pretty sure the DH rule allows you to bat a DH for your pitcher, it doesn't require you to.
  19. I believe our front office is not averse to trading prospects for a star in a role that we need. Wasn't there a few summers back where we wanted a Mets ace, and were basically told the price included Buxton, and predicably that went nowhere. They ended up being traded to Toronto for a package we could have matched and beaten.
  20. Noon game! The antiwitching hour? High Noon? A showdown in the classic western style? Remember, rifle beats pistol. Spin rate is important. But metal plate beats rifle. Here zone coverage is important. Braves: 1. Ender Inciarte ( L) LF 2. Jake Lamb ( L) 1B 3. Austin Riley (R ) 3B 4. Johan Camargo ( S ) 2B 5. A. Almonte ( S ) RF 6. Cristian Pache (R ) CF 7. Byron Buxton (R ) CF 6. Miguel Sano (R ) 1B 7. A. Simmons (R ) SS 8. Jake Cave ( L) LF 9. Ryan Jeffers (R ) C Have at it!
  21. And for all who like me weren't paying attention la bomba squad was in fine form today, with 6. Let's see... if we average that, 6*162=972, right? Nice!
