  1. They happen all the time, just involving other teams... And with his cellphone he can keep up with that breaking news.
  2. The Twins have the same number of losses as Cleveland. If we win out, we'll catch 'em.
  3. Always wondered if there was Mister Direction.
  4. Hey look! Playing first, batting first! Batting second, playing second. But i don't know about this 3rd 4th thing...
  5. A couple mild suggestions above which you may a take or not... But we digress from our purpose: A Kolten Wong Song. (At least assuming my initial offering was unsatisfactory)
  6. Now i wish i'd thought of that melody... Nah, the original lyrics i had in mind are famous for comparing life to a dream... A very poe-tic sentiment if you ask me.
  7. Oh yeah. I concur with Mr. Montana: really doing nothing takes unparalleled dedication.
  8. Can't say i am wise in the ways of either. I was aiming simpler towards a commonly known round. That way it could be sung for a really long time.
  9. (Take 1: um, 2 guesses what the melody is and the first 3 don't count) Swing swing swing the bat hardly Kolten Wong. Tip your cap and that's a wrap for now you've got a song.
  10. Re: Point 3... Mr. Riverbrian, You're question of the previous week was limited to someone in St. Louis writing a Kolten Wong song. Not being in St. Louis, i could do nothing about it. Now that you have opened the question up to anyone, i can invalidate it by writing one forthwith. -ssoo (and some day i will learn to spell, promise)
  11. Something i have in common with carrots and broccoli. I imagine i would make anyone more aggressive if someone tried to feed me to something. But bringing up kangaroos and not incorporating them into the Joey M. thought is a missed opportunity... Not as ripe as bases loaded with no outs, but still... ripe.
  12. Just wait until he gets to shifts. The blue shift will expand your universe... (I think it has to do with bunting... but maybe that's how you beat a red shifted infield...)
  13. Yes please! I aspire to be like Buxton and stretch it to a standard triple.
  14. And it is a Lookout home game. Otherwise you'd have to mentally insert a pretentious comma to read it that way. -SizeOfOne, sample
  15. I spotted it. Probables have Lewis pitching for Jackson and Thorpe for Chattanooga. But how could they have different records and eras?
  16. From Wikipedia i see he is a character getting humor from innocent questions about adult themes. Impressive how many other languages have an equivalent character. So this was a little Joe ('nny) M. dialogue? Mr. Riverbrian is quite the literary guru.
  17. There was a joke in it? I took it for scientific discourse. Albeit i would have considered using an analog model... But there is something to be said for the discrete take on the subject matter.
  18. So we can tow the earth out of the way in case of impending astroid collision?
  19. Does this 2 game series portend an eventual symmetric 2 game series at Target field? I know symmetry arguments can get wierd. Just the other day someone was discussing a fire code. I asked if there was a hire code...
  20. These close games getting away at the end seem to be more common than i'm used to.
