  1. It would be nice to get guys some work, but going to Dobnak for the four-inning save would be nice for keeping him stretched out. Reasonable chance he’ll be needed one of the next couple days, but I’m always glad to get a win in the bag without using five pitchers.
  2. I got my second COVID shot yesterday. I was kinda glad that it took Indiana a few weeks to bring the age eligibility down. I heard that side effects aren’t as bad for those 55 and over, and I just hit that birthday in late March.
  3. And with that steal, Kepler moves into a tie for fifth among those born in Germany....
  4. Maximilian slapped that one into left like a ballet dancer.
  5. You’d have nothing in the fridge, though. And with a son known as the Human Food Vacuum, I know of what I speak.
  6. Even with Yelich’s 0-fer, I’d make that trade in a heartbeat.
  7. In Wisconsin, Pineda comes through with the cheese.
  8. Methinks that when Pineda is up with a runner on first and less than two outs, a strikeout would be considered a productive out.
  9. To be fair, he does have a little more surface area to protect than most pitchers do. EDIT: Yeah, like Chief said.
  10. Because the first thing I do as a fan after doinking a fly ball and then running over to pick it up is take off my shirt and flex...
  11. Hmm. What what would that look like. Maybe an”ISBIC” button for “It Stinks, But I Concur”?
  12. I read this week that Rocco and Shelton have the two lowest career success rates on challenges among the 60 or so that have had at least 10 challenges in their career.
  13. I think I can get used to the ease with which Andrelton handles himself at shortstop. EDIT: I hope to get to a similar level with Polanco.
  14. In my experience, however, it is the friendliest park in the majors for those with mobility challenges.
  15. Winner, winner. Brisket for late-night snack.
  16. Catchers and umps don’t wear a full Stevie anymore, do they?
  17. Figures that you’d be the one to bring up Depends.
  18. I’ll be back in a bit, folks. I’m going to hop over to read the “It’s Not Time to Worry About Alex Colome” article.
  19. Brett Gardner is only 37. It just SEEMS like he’s been around long enough to be 43.
  20. Don’t fall for it, folks. She’s going to starting posting links for shoes. Edit: Ninja’ed.
