  1. I assume you mean the front office strategy. This isn't decided by the catcher or pitchers.
  2. So start Dobnak in game three? That's the same thing. I really don't know what you actually wanted different.
  3. Well. Pineda, Gibson, and Perez were not options. And this front office passed on Corbin and Keuchel. You'll love next year's starters!
  4. I too would have brought out Berrios for one more inning. I don't know if it would have worked.....
  5. And the new Picard trailer! I might have to pay for CBS in a few months....
  6. By that logic, no Littel or Gaterol either. Clearly not Gibson, or Berrios, or Dobnak either there. You don't bring in Romo or Rogers there. You have five innings, how do you get five innings without using any of this pitchers yesterday? And then have anyone you are willing to pitch today, since you won't use rookies today either, if the game is close. Those guys are on the roster. What would you like Rocco to do? Not use four of the eight RPs at all?
  7. Wow. The expanse preview looks great
  8. He was wrong that it wasn't important to the Twins, guess I didn't make that clear. I'm indifferent to the Gibson decision one way or the other. I don't do it, but I get the theory.
  9. Most of the people in this thread are clearly saying that the best RPs should pitch yesterday, today, and the next game. I'm not convinced that will work. I'm also not sure who those two or three are, and how many outs they can get in a game.... It was the fifth inning. If they can't trust Littel, or stashak, who should come in in the fifth? Not Berrios, not Gibson, not Dobnak, not Romo, I'm guessing people would rip it being Gaterol if they don't think rookies should be in. And then, who comes in the sixth, if not any of those players? This is the roster. We can question the roster, but that's not on Rocco. He can only use the guys he has. They needed more than four innings of outs, what would everyone have done instead, inning by inning.....
  10. I can't believe everyone calling for the best RPs to pitch every inning.... They've shown to be it's effective on back to back games. It's not realistic to ask them to do so. People wanted, what, more than four innings from their best RPs, and then the same again today?
  11. Based on what? Stashak was effective this year... The Twins can't only pitch their top two two to three RPs all series.
  12. The Yankees have almost no lefties on their roster. That's all this is.
  13. I have no idea why Schoop isn't starting vs a lefty. Bizarre decision.
  14. Kepler is an above average center fielder, in admittedly small samples......
  15. That's the best at this point. I agree with every decision. If they get past the Yankees, I expect more lefty pitchers.....
  16. Good thing I don't need this money, assuming I get a job in the next two months.....
  17. I'm just reporting what two different people told me. Could have been internet issues locally..... But that's such a nit, in the real discussion....
  18. For seven days. That doesn't cover the playoffs. Unless only the two wild card games are on that network, you couldn't watch a wild card team that wins play without buying YouTube TV. Which I'm told breaks down during sports quite often. I'm not "looking for any reason to criticize", I've been consistent on this. The playoffs should be on broadcast tv locally. The locals pay for that stadium. I don't expect you to agree, I'm cool with that. Also, what Brock says. It isn't one channel....
  19. Good thing we subsidize those poor owners. Imagine if they let people watch their subsidized product!
  20. I'd guess he's on the roster. But Schoop should start vs any lefty. No matter how healthy Arraez is.
  21. Rosario is gone in a year or two, if not at the end of this year.
  22. Cave and Wade are not ahead of Lewis. If Lewis moves to the outfield, it's not clear anyone but Kepler is in front of him, assuming Buxton is gone in that scenario.
  23. You have to get pitching somehow. Lots of it. Next year. Or it's a lost year.
