    Looks like Buck will struggle to get over the Buxton line today. And he's helping Sale the most to another 10 SO game. Rookies. Whaddya gonna do? EDIT ADD: Not complaining. I like Buxton a ton. He brings an excitement that leaps from the field to the stands through the TV camera to my house and interwebs.

    We moved to Michigan that summer. Rooted for the Tigers, and they had to win both ends of a doubleheader with the Angels to force a one-game playoff with Boston. Dick McCauliffe, a 2nd baseman who hadn't hit into a doubleplay all season, hit into a doubleplay to end the game and the Tigers lost 8-6. Sad day to be 11 and your team loses the big game.

    Names... Heard that the actor that played "Dennis the Menace" on TV met the guy who sang "Games People Play." Jay North and Joe South. It went badly. They were polar opposites.
