    Did a little googling, and one analysis from 2007 of 73 years of boxscores showed "213 teams came back from a deficit of four runs after eight innings. That’s out of 44,537 attempts, or a success rate of under 0.5%." Pretty elite company we keep.

    Here's a day brightener... The Twins last year didn't win their 42nd game until game 91. We hit that milestone this year on game 79. Another hot streak would definitely make this summer funner than usual. Let's have a good game!

    Twins have held the Brew Crew to 2 runs over 20 innings after the two-inning explosion two days ago. This is good. Meanwhile, both pitchers are on today, as well. We haven't chosen well on the bases.
