    A good informative article. I just have a couple questions. Who plays first for the ML club if colabello and parmalee and pinto all play AAA? And what happens to pitchers named Deduno Hendricks Albers Diamond Gibson in the offseason, especially if the twins sign a couple more in the offseason

    I am just curious. Why does Adam Walker not get more love? It seems like anytime somebody complements him there is always a BUT and that nobody really holds much hope for his ML career

    My wish list in this order: Tanka Ubaldo Jimenez Scott feldman Phil Hughes Edison volquez All these guys I think have potential to be much better then what we have been watching. I would be thrilled if TR signed 3 off this list and happy if he signed just one ..as long as it was tanka. But I dont believe he will shell out 60 million for the privilege of negogiating with him

    I would love to see mike scocia in the twins dugout. I know he is signed thru 2018, but rumor has it he could be on the hot seat.

    Was not aware of that. Is that for one time only or can they sign multiple free agents with qualifying offers? Would they have to give up a later rd pick?

    Going after Linsicoum (sp?) wont happen if the Giants give him a quality offer...which they most likely will do. I dont see much of a point in going after oft injured pitchers like johnson and haren and santana hoping they will save the franchise. See rich harden and joel zumya. That enterprise is usually fruitless. Go after Tanka make a run at Abreu mayb sign one of Hughes Johnson or one of the Santanas plus tanka. If we cant land Abreu sign the current Pirates first baseman...I heard he isnt too bad and has ties to MN.

    This season is lost. We should now be playing for a top 5 pick in June. That would be a success in my book. That bein said seeing what guys like pressly pinto and colabello can do over a month of regular playing time is also important

    This season is lost. The twins if the twins get hot the could end up with a mid teens pick. If they play slightly worse then they have been it could be a top 5 pick. I would much rather they pick in the top 5 then otherwise. That bein said I want certain guys to do well. Dozier, colabello etc. Just right now it makes more sense to lose then to win.

    I dont believe Hicks will be recalled but will battle for is job in SP. Ramirez and thomas will be optioned off the 40 man at the end of the yr.

    You can count me in the group that doesnt really see the point of spending 30million in free agency just to be better then average. In 91 the twins went out and got a Morris and a chili davis. My FEELING is they will do that again when the time is right. My problem is them saying we will be competive when they know they are playing for a top five pick next june.

    I think the only way mauer gets significant first base time is if Pinto hits in the majors the way he hit in AA.

    I think the twins absolutely have ti sign morneau at the end of the season. The fans need somebody to watch. Who is going to be excited about watchin parmalee or colabello play first? Or corria pitch to a under league average era? Or guys like Thomas and pressly or mastro play daily? Nobody wants to watch that

    There are only two ways this works well for the twins. One they resign Morneau in the offseason or the PTBNL is a stud

    I wonder who is on the PTNL list? And if it depends on Morneaus play. Oh well..at least Morneau makes the playoffs and the twins now have a real chance to pick third next June. I really hope Morneau signs back with twins in the offseason

    Deduno went on the DL as did Ramirez. Not sure if that hurts or helps our quest to pick third next June

    The dodgers would never agree to that. Theyalready are looking at Ethier being a fourth outfielder at 16 mil a year and they dont have a DH in the NL. What would they do with Arcia? Now we are down to basically Pelfry for Kershaw. Nobody makes that trade. And how do the twins pay his huge contract? His current one expires this yr i believe
