  1. I like to end conversations before they start, that's why I tell everyone I'm an Amway sales rep. Ask me about Amway!
  2. I would trade Sano before I would trade Dozier. The organization is currently well stocked with marginal glove great bat talent. Vargas and Park can split duties at 1st while Plouffe continues to be competent at 3rd. *I cannot wait to see the firestorm I create with that remark.
  3. The genders have enough trouble getting along and then some languages go and add gender to nouns? Yeesh.
  4. So, the KQ bit was about you? Small world...
  5. Do I have to speak "eh" in order to order? Because I'm not fluent in "eh."
  6. Took my wife to a hotdog place Guy recommended. It was outstanding. Guy is probably a YMMV kind of guy.
  7. Back in the day, KQRS had this wonderful bit where a son "came out" that he wanted to be a weatherman. There is a reason why our language knows not when the hour may be struck. Perhaps their people can tell us over there. Perhaps "They're their people over there?"
  8. 1. Counting Sheep – I really don’t know why sheep were chosen as the animal to count when trying to get to sleep but I can tell you this… it works. It shouldn’t... but it does. My uncle had a farm and he had sheep for a while and the mere idea of sheep being able to effortlessly jump over fences kept him up at night. My uncle became so worried about his sheep jumping over the fence that he would go out nightly and take inventory by counting them all… which of course he couldn’t do because it put him right to sleep." Evidently, this is a documentary about your uncle: *wow, copy and paste grabbed everything.
  9. Yeah, happened to me too. It took me a moment to realize what had happened.
  10. I have to admit, that was awesome...walking Kepler to get to Sano? Talk about picking your poison.
  11. What in the world is going on? Wow.
  12. All the talk of spice and no spice girls? (yes, I'm that cruel)
  13. Remind me again who the good guys are?
  14. I'll take Jepsen for $2,000,000, Chitown.
  15. Hmm, this thread is already showing potential to be weirder than the walk-off win last night. And, by the way, what is going on with the Twins bullpen? They've sort of been doing their job lately.
  16. Find a way to move Joe Mauer doesn't mean "trade him." It means "move Joe Mauer" by whatever means necessary. Trading is merely one option.
  17. Listening to Dick and Bert talk about the Vargas/Park/Mauer logjam at first..and yet they never touched on the obvious: find a way to move Joe Mauer.
  18. I saw the lineup and went what? Both Kepler and Buxton sitting? Molitor is reverting to early season form, I guess. Personally, sit one or the other, not both.
  19. I prefer Kepler, but, I understand the sentiment.
  20. And Nolasco collapses under the pressure of his audition.
  21. Nolasco is pitching well because he's hoping to be traded to a contending team. Yes, I'm that cynical. Good job with the thread start.
  22. My biggest fear is short-term. I like that the youngsters are getting experience and the team is winning, however, I'm afraid winning now will keep management from moving players that need to be moved.
  23. The bullpen was used and abused last night so, what does a Twins starter do? 8 innings. This is the Twins, right? Outstanding job all the way around.
