  1. There aren't any prospects of note coming up at first base. Also, he will likely be traded before September comes anyway.
  2. Josh Bell had a hot start, but he has cold lately. Shelton has still been hitting him cleanup pretty much every day anyway.
  3. I'm a bit confused why Martin is pinch hitting for Larnach rather than Wallner or Lewis last inning.
  4. I give the Twins about a 20% chance of winning any game that is tied in the 6th-8th innings with this bullpen.
  5. Remember this offseason, when we were talking about all the Starting Pitching depth we had. We basically just lost a whole major league caliber roatation from injuries. We lost three playoff caliber starters in Lopez, Bradley, and Abel along with a decent 4 or 5 on any rotation in David Festa. There is truly no such thing as too much pitching. Joey Gallo, anyone?
  6. Great article, but this is bad timing as he has had three guys thrown out at home in the last two games. Third base coaching is a tough job because you never notice them until they mess up.
  7. Wallner and/or Lewis need to be DFAed within the next couple weeks if they keep hitting like this. With Rodriguez and Jenkins hurt, Gonzalez is probably the next callup.
  8. Emmanuel Rodriguez I think he has higher upside than Jenkins which is why I have him number one.Walker JenkinsEduardo TaitKaelen CulpepperDasan HillConnor PrielippMarek HoustonGabriel GonzalezCharlee SotoHendry MendezKendry RojasRiley QuickBrandon WinokurQuentin YoungEnrique JimenezMarco RayaRyan GallagherBilly AmickJames EllwangerKhadim Diaw
  9. Exit Velos for the Nats that inning: 105.2, 99.8, 100.5, 104.3, 103.7, 105.5, and 89.6. Throw in a couple walks, and you have the Twins bullpen.
  10. Wow. I'm confident any position player on the Twins could do better than Luis Garcia. I heard Matt Wallner has a good arm?
  11. With Lopez and Ryan both hurt, Bradley continuing to shine is even more crucial for the Twins. He has definitely been a bright spot. A good day from the offensive side as well. Buxton is red hot, but it is nice to see Lee have a good day and also Keaschall draw three walks and reach base 4 times. Great Win. Go Twins
