Florimon bounces one off Scherzer's back. That might have hurt. Too bad he made a nice recovery to throw him out.
  2. big dog
    And...an RBI for Hicks.
  3. big dog
That looked like a pretty low pitch to Parmalee, caught looking. Nice single by Plouffe. Let's knock this guy around.
  4. big dog
Yeah, I'm generally happy to see ex-Twins do well (but not against us). This a pretty impressive start for them. Hopefully Hunter takes a few days off from his hot streak.

Hicks broke the wrong way on Moreland for the second time in a row. I wonder if he was thinking about how Moreland put one over his head yesterday and was determined not to let it happen again? Oops.
  7. big dog
Arcia goes Boom! Twins go down.
  8. big dog
Yeah, my bad. But if Florimon were playing for the Rangers he might be on first now.
  9. big dog
Coming up- Parmelee to the rescue. Book it.
  10. big dog
Hey, guess who just made an unnecessary error? Anyone?
  11. big dog
A wild pitch would have been much better than watching Florimon take a called third strike. Did I mention I'm on the Escobar bandwagon?
  12. big dog
Nifty delayed steal and advance on the error for Hicks. A wild pitch is our best weapon now.
  13. big dog
so much for my psychic powers. Hopefully Florimon doesn't let anything roll under his glove tonight. And no AJ- here all those folks paid good money to boo him and he's not even in the lineup.
  14. big dog
Yeah, I posted something in another thread defending giving Florimon an extended look. I'm no longer interested. Let him learn how to catch the ball in AAA for a while, then decide whether or not to keep him in the system. Last night was brutal.

    {muttering hints to Gardy} Escobarescobarescobarescobarescobar.....
  16. big dog
OK, as I said two nights ago, I really like the new improved Dozier 2.0
  17. big dog
Nice to see the Junior Ranger knocked out. Let's get another one. That's you, Arcia.
  18. big dog
    Hammer Time!
  19. big dog
    OK, play Escobar NOW.
  20. big dog
Bad play by Florimon. You can put me on the Play Escobar bandwagon. Hicks got a hit! Now the Rangers are in trouble. He should run on AJ.
  21. big dog
Yeah, and that's not even considering how effective the Rangers are at hitting the absolute snot out of the ball.
  22. big dog
No sense using him as a reliever- his first inning is his worst inning. He has got to be on a short leash right now. I'm not a fan of Deduno's "crazy fastball" but I'd rather see that than Pelfrey's "here hit me hard" fastball.
  23. big dog
OK, I don't care if Pelfrey is a bulldog, a horse, or a platypus, he should sit down for a while.
  24. big dog
Hey, this isn't over! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
  25. big dog
Geez, Justin, talk to Hicks about getting some walks...
