3 K's in 19 innings is legitimately embarrassing. I've seen position players with higher K/9. Henriquez is not an MLB caliber pitcher. You'd think the analytics "savants" we have would be able to tell a small sample size stroke of luck and not throw him in this situation.
No Buxton, no Correa after half a game of playing. What a joke. Don't care, gonna watch the Vikings today. They might lose, but at least they will care about it.
Twins will need at least a 2 game lead, probably 3 going into the final series. Tigers will sweep the White Sox and the Twins are not winning their series against the Orioles, will be lucky to not get swept themselves.
Guy that's pitching for the Reds tonight, Martinez, would be a perfect signing this offseason, but they won't do it and we'll dig ourselves a hole the first few months of games trotting SWR/Festa/Matthews out there
I'll add on to my earlier comment, it's hard to win ballgames when 60% of your starters are bad and all but 1 of your relievers can't pitch under any modicum of pressure.
Varland's not good in the bullpen either. He likely would have lost us game 1 against Toronto last year if Target Field wasn't stupidly deep to right center field.
