  1. Royce is an interesting case study as to how quickly someone can go from a franchise cornerstone to an injury prone Javier Baez clone.
  2. Of course Margot comes off the IL in the minimum time required while Buxton and Correa are weeks/months behind schedule.
  3. Only positive to Festa and Matthews pitching like crap is the front office can't come out of this offseason without a starting pitcher or two, I guarantee you we would have gone into next year wasting the first month or two with them in the rotation to find out what we are right now.
  4. He doesn't even give them a chance. Team is deflated before they even get up to the plate. And they know that any runs they put up will be given right back.
  5. Zebby is just straight batting practice man
  6. Wow, looked at his statcast and it's as bad as it looks. Cannot lose this game with someone this bad on the mound.
  7. Am I seeing this right? This Angels starter has 12 K's in 38 innings? That's incredibly awful. If this lineup chases a bunch of garbage tonight they're never going to figure it out.
  8. You have to at least allow Ober a baserunner. If the bullpen blows it after that then so be it. But even if it would have worked out, you put unnecessary stress on the bullpen so that Jax and Duran are probably down tomorrow. For what? The bullpen arms are at much higher risk of injury than Ober.
  9. People call it like it is. The Twins do not warrant any positivity right now. This is another monumental collapse that we saw a carbon copy of just 2 years ago. And of our 3 best players, 2 of them are constantly injured and the third, Lewis, has turned from a franchise cornerstone to a low baseball IQ free swinger.
  10. Yes, people are allowed to complain when things are going bad. 29 out of 30 MLB managers don't lose this game and we have the 1 that does.
  11. Dumb players, dumb manager, this whole organization is a clown show.
  12. If the pen blows this it will be my last straw with Rocco.
  13. Insane. 8.1 K/9, 31st percentile chase %, 27th percentile whiff % mowing through this minor league lineup.
  14. You can maybe say Royce is playing injured but that wouldn't affect his plate discipline. Very concerning how bad it's gotten.
  15. 2 national audience games in a row and we're showing off our worst rookie pitcher and then a guy with a 7.71 ERA against the Royals in his career.
  16. Cleveland playing the Dodgers this weekend and Rocco rolling out a lineup like this, they don't care anymore.
  17. Vasquez had a nice little run, he's back to normal.
  18. That's probably ballgame with this lineup. Zebby's control has not carried over from the minors, concerning.
  19. Farmer, Martin, Vasquez 5/6/7 is brutal. If you're gonna throw a game Rocco, might want to do it against a non-divisional opponent who we're not fighting for playoff seeding.
  20. Farmer batting 5th has to be a joke, right?
  21. It's truly amazing how much run Varland gets for being a low round pick who's never shown any ability to pitch above double A ball
  22. Needs to suck it up and get back out there. Defense falls apart without him. He's got 6 months to recover in the offseason.
  23. Correa's made 9.25 million on the IL since he went out
  24. Horrifically bad funadmental team. Just get the 2 blowouts in Baltimore or New York over with so we can move on to next year.
  25. Castro fallen off a cliff in the second half
