Since August 1: Lewis: 86 wRC+, Jeffers: 85 wRC+, Julien: 65 wRC+, Miranda: 57 wRC+, Castro: 92 wRC+, Margot: 71 wRC+, Lee: 28 wRC+, Santana: 95 wRC+ The odds that the vast majority of the lineup just suddenly turns into awful hitters simultaneously defies reason. They've clearly given up, that's on Rocco, and he needs to be gone.

    This is the second collapse in 3 years. There's no logical defense for him being back other than the Pohlads not wanting to pay 2 managers at once.

    This is your 2025 Minnesota Twins, folks. Correa, Buxton, Lewis in the lineup so it's practically full strength. Don't give me the injury excuses because playing injured is full strength for all of those 3. Two of the top guys in the rotation Pablo and Ober have blowup starts with the season on the line. These are the guys we think are cornerstones of the organization? What's there to even look forward to?

    Glen Perkins called him out the other day for it, he's clearly not putting as much into his non-save situations. He's a diva. He compared himself to Mariano Rivera a few weeks back after blowing a save.

    One of the very few things I agree with Rocco on, you can't just throw Duran in the 9th every time because he throws a fit and Jax deserves it based on results. Duran is a baby, you tell him to shut up and help the team, of course Rocco doesn't have the stones to do that.

    Shutout by a no-name with 10 career innings. They make a new rock bottom every night.

    This is essentially the full strength lineup. The long term outlook of this team is getting worse every day.

    Miranda is just not a good player. His hot streak was held up by unsustainable weak contact falling for hits, he's slow, he can't field, and he would be way below average at DH.
