  1. Revere has that 1 career walk against Hunter. That's what we're looking for in today's game. A walk, stolen base, and a Casilla/Span/Carroll RBI base hit.
  2. 1-1 middle of the 8th, Nice throw by Bigley to first and caught steal by Lehmann to second. can the 2,3,4 and 5 hitters put up another run?
  3. Who will throw the first No-Hitter in 2012? Watching Ubaldo Jiminez throw 6.2 no-hit innings on April 7th makes me wonder... Who will throw a No-Hitter in 2012? It can be easy to predict who may get a hit or even who may hit a home-run on any given day, but predicting No-Hitters is not as easy. That said, I feel Buehrle, Halladay, and Verlander all have a good chance at achieving their 3rd career No-Hitters. Also, Who do you think has the stuff to nab their 1st No-Hitter?
  4. I was very happy with Carroll's defensive play in game 1. Hope to see many more nice plays throughout the year.
  5. That is correct. Revere moves to OF. Although you could also move Mauer to 1st and Doumit to C.So, by choosing Burroughs over Hughes to PH for Casilla and replacing Burroughs with Plouffe, you reduce your options for OF as well.
  6. After game 1, I'm seeing LF looking better than last year. There are question marks in RF, but hey... it's only 1 game.
  7. It was a good game, but I bet the highlight still had to be watching Sano's GS HR sail over the fence.
  8. B, but for various other reasons not included above.
  9. a couple Grand Slams are nice to see early on.
  10. At that time of day, in Camden Yards, he's looking into the sun. It looks so horrible that the ball actually taps his glove, but I'm amazed that he almost made that catch at all. Hope it doesn't continue down the road. Target field has the same angle as Camden Yards. Yes, Doumit is not a great OF, but it could have happened to anyone. so.. moving forward, we want to see his bat even out the runs some how.
  11. Exactly. Hughes should have been the go to over Burroughs for that at-bat. Yeah, I know what you're all thinking.. Burroughs is a lefty going up against Lindstrom the Righty, but Hughes hits better off RHPs than he does LHPs. Also, note that it was Plouffe who ended the short rally in the ninth vs. Johnson ( RHP vs. RHB ). Plouffe does not hit as well as Hughes off RHP.
  12. My guess is the FO waits patiently until After the home opening series to become more transparent.. that is, if transparency is needed. Hope that isn't the case.
  13. If you're the Closer, whatever music you choose, you should also consider tacking onto the end of it.
  14. I'm enjoying your "dirty laundry" reference. ...and it's Ryan wearing Smith's inside-out shirt.
  15. I'm still predicting the Twins take 2 of 3.
  16. or..How about that episode of Futurama called " A Leela of her own". The New New York Mets sign Leela to bean opposing players because having only one eye causes her depth perception problems.
  17. I've taken a liking to your accessive information!
  18. We've seen time and again players going to different organizations and becoming better players. Sometimes all it takes is a different approach to their development. I think that most teams consider this when they're drafting. You have an idea of how other organizations handle their pitchers and you draft accordingly. You end up taking a small risk on a gamble that your personnel can turn things around for the draftee. As far as Doyle being a bad idea, there's something to be said about the way the rest of the 2012 draft went down. Luetge, Cabral and Castillo were all taken after Doyle.
  19. Hang in there Jason! I hope your daughter will pull through.
  20. "There's a whole league of teams out there who are gearing up and strategizing for the upcoming season, and rest assured that their plans, to a team, include not an iota of concern about your Minnesota Twins."

If the entire league is presently unconcerned, then I'm glad there are still folks like you out there that are genuinely worried and feel the need to contribute to this site.

    Thank you

  21. Okay, I'm curious, how are the Twins irrelevant?
  22. At this point, I'd place Burroughs before Hollimon or any Catcher for that 4th Bench spot. Bench: Mastroianni Plouffe Hughes Burroughs
  23. Fantastic idea all around. Revere could definitely benefit from playing everyday and focusing on a few skill sets. His speed would be missed, but if Mastroianni was #4... Darin can steal base also!
