I'd go with Verlander this year, but if this question gets asked again at the end of this season I'll go with Kershaw.

I'd like to take the Prospect Tour this year, but opening a new store... I'm not going to get that time off. I might be able to make my own 2day trip though. Damn.

Butler Doumit, Dunn, Hafner, Rayburn I agree, this AL Central field makes me dizzy. I'd like to keep thinking Rayburn could turn up a really great year... Hafner is a ginormous ?... and DUNN Dunn dunnn... maybe Doumit fits the Twins' need. I pick Butler, but almost any one of these other guys having a really surprisingly great year seems fine to me.

Does anyone have quick access to Hollimon's vs Left/vs Right splits? He might be the answer to the argument.

I actually thought that would be the plan after signing Doumit. The very idea of having a 3rd Catcher sitting around game after game. Save that seat for someone who can do some real damage to the ball.I will be very annoyed if they keep on a 3rd Catcher.

Absolutely, I wasn't very clear about that. Looking back, I didn't mean for that post to seem so negative. You get 'em Jason! I hope.

You gotta love these Dangle games toward the last roster cuts.Marquis won't have very many excuses today with this starting defense. I'm anxious to see how he performs against this Boston lineup. Could get interesting.

Seriously, he needs an entourage with him at all times in Rochester to simply get him back to where he was a couple years ago. This year needs to end well for him, otherwise the money was not well spent. Maybe he'll learn a thing or two from B.D. & co.

agreed. Today is the day that Doyle has to make good on his exit back to Minor League camp. It was great to see him battle with the rest. Overall a great ST for him if today goes well.

Mauer's is great, but I have to say that Morneau's stare down at the end was pretty funny and Pavano's smiling mustache is in.

Yeah, that was one trade that I will never forget as long as I have a memory. It included Kevin Mulvey also, I remember thinking Humber and Mulvey would both become 3 & 4 type starters and that Deolis Guerra would one day become the next Liriano.
