  1. I'd like to see Doyle and Manship on the Roster. I have a feeling Hendriks will see time in Rochester first, waiting until someone fails to provide.
  2. I can't wait to see that smile slowly turn into a smirk.
  3. Mauer Santana Perez Avila Pierzynski
  4. Don't worry Parker... after all the opposition in those earlier comments, you deserve to feel a little smug. No, you definitely aren't showing it. You're right, nothing smug about the "Boom". What's really going on here is a lot of folks were getting so excited about the possibility of a Twins/Giolito draft. Now they're all pissed about it. Giolito wasn't the pick for the Twins either way.
  5. I was hoping they would take Appel before Giolito. Heck, even Marrero. I feel bad for the kid, but I'm also relieved. I bet Houston takes Zunino. They're in need of a good catcher down the road.
  6. I can't imagine Offense being part of the problem getting to the playoffs this season. If there's a bottom to mediocre finish, it will be because of the question marks surrounding pitching. Pavano and Liriano would both need performances similar to 2010 in order for the rest to fill in the gaps. I actually feel good about the way the Bullpen is coming together. I'm optimistic that the team will finish somewhere in the 80's with Wins and Losses.
  7. At the moment it doesn't really matters who the third catcher is. There should only be two Catchers to start out the season. Save the spot for another OF/IF bat that could provide off the bench past the 7th inning. Until Mauer or Doumit go down, there isn't much to talk about. Sure, you could plan ahead but save the seat for someone who can hit the ball.
  8. Will never forget the way he could float up the wall making highlight catches.
  9. I've been planning on making trips to Beloit since the end of last season. Will probably also try to line up some games with them in other ballparks. QuadCities is a nice park to watch the Snappers play in. This team should be fun to follow.
  10. Both Maloney and Doyle fit Perkins' path, but I wonder if they can flip so quickly. It took Perky a little time to really get comfortable in that reliever role. However, I truly hope we can look back 5 months from now and say that the turnaround surprise comes from Capps.
  11. Excited to see if Bromberg can return to old self!
  12. Whoever is out there on the mound... they're the Captain of the defense.
