  1. Slump says you can't buy a hit. When Correa was rolling last week every little poke had seeing eyes. So is a sausage a slump buster?
  2. Royce doesn't have to do it all himself.. 3 pitches 2 outs.
  3. Would have been a good time for a few more..
  4. Our guys are 🎯 and not in the Field way.
  5. Here's the chance but ouch at 95 mph. He's fragile didn't they tell them? And he's hitting now.
  6. Gotta be the longest scoreless inning in the annals of the Twins - Diamondbacks history.
  7. Speaking of Cleveland, proof good things can happen tonight. New 1B Jhonkensy Noel was called up and hits a HR in his first AB.
  8. Key for the Twins lately to make Peter and the rest of us happy is to hang a crooked number in the 1st and play with a lead for a change. Scarcely ever happens but when it does we tend to do well. I'd settle for a four spot. 2 RBI double from Royce and a 2 run HR from Santana.
  9. Let's trade them to Atlanta. Oh wait they're in the same boat. How about Cleveland? Ah same thing. It isn't a Twins issue. It's an MLB and provider issue.
  10. I think those five aren't going anywhere by choice either..
  11. If tonight's a blowout (especially for AZ) put all three out for an inning. Worst WHIP goes home.
  12. Pablo Day and Festaval. The Twins are fun again if nothing else.
  13. This is where the careful eye gets the first scoop! You're probably right but these days it could be someone who got banned from baseball too.
  14. Per MLB Trades, the Twins are planning to select the contract of right-handed pitching prospect David Festa, reports Bobby Nightengale of the Star Tribune. The 24-year-old will be called up ahead of Thursday’s series finale against the Diamondbacks in Arizona. Minnesota has an open spot on the 40-man roster, although the team will still need to make a corresponding move to add Festa to the 26-man roster. So Festaval will supplant Pablo Day..
  15. Think Zebby might go to St Paul if Festa goes to the bigs?
  16. The word in the street is.. likely so. Probably keep Henriquez for bullpen depth tonight and then make room for Festa tomorrow. If Henriquez or Thielbar can impact the decision by their performances tonight, the call should be simple. I expect them both to pitch tonight, game permitting. So 40 percent of our games will be parties.. Pablo Day and Festaval.
