    Solid Festaval start! All the outs were induced on non fastballs.. he wasn't trying to blow em away with two strikes, let the defense work. But 96.. that's nice to have.

    Alright there's one thing I don't believe the Twins do well (scout the umpires), and umpire peculiars seem to do them in until they adjust. Mike Muchlinski should be behind the plate today.. and he constantly calls the low strike. No guarantee that Festa will 'get the calls' but coming from the semi automated strike zone that is AAA to the bigs and dealing with unexpected inconsistencies behind the plate. I hope someone clues him in.

    I'm saddened by but understand the prospect of not having Santana in 2025. When we need a play he makes it. When we need a base runner he becomes it. He's never hurt. Hard to rationalize spending 2024 Farmer money on 2025 Santana though isn't it.
