    I typed Funderburk into Google and got... What does funderburk mean? Funderburk Name Meaning Americanized form of German von der Burg 'from the castle'; If he's of German descent he'd be Hair Funderburk?

    Since the Twins imploded I hate everyone's comments trying to put a positive spin instead of the truth. Before that I didn't mind hearing Morny go on and on. He;s sincere. What I hate is analysts that say nothing but the obvious ( "You gotta throw strikes here" ) and such as that. Luckily there not a lot of that with the Twins team.

    Though I've tried I don't like sports other than baseball. I hated the Yankees since the early 60s because they always won. I picked the Twins in 1961 because they were an underdog. I don't hate other baseball teams but I am a baseball snob and have disdain for expansion teams. I prefer the original 16 franchises. It doesn't make a lot of sense but neither do I.

    When you march 4-5 poor or marginal pitchers up in a row one of them is bound to blow it making the decent performance by the 3-4 meaningless.

    My favorite player name (non Twins) is Dooley Womack. Obscure enough in the 60s I heard that a radio station had a phone in quiz with the question "Who or what is a Dooley Womack".
