  1. Ah, yes, the get away day dud. Far too common for this team. After they failed to capitalize in the bottom of the 1st, the wind went out of their sails.
  2. Nice win, boys. One of the better ones this season considering the opponent.
  3. Hopefully the Twins soon have an ownership group that will commit to keeping talent like Joe Ryan rather than trading it.
  4. Every manager has strengths and weaknesses. With Rocco, the players like him and he manages personalities well. But his in game decisions, especially with the pitching staff and things the like contact play have to be among the worst in the league. Zero feel for the game. With that said, he does pluses as a manager that prevent from being among the worst overall managers. But if we're going just by gameday decisions, he's definitely among the worst.
  5. And Danny Cool doesn't even finish the inning. Can't make it up.
  6. Gotta let Sim sink or swim. This team isn't making the post season. These games should be open auditions for 2026. See what the young arms have...or don't have.
  7. Some weird voodoo in Minneapolis. Winning one run games?! Using small ball to do it?!
  8. Twins starters need to throw up on themselves in an early inning and then settle down. Ryan the exception.
  9. Hard to watch a team that is just going through the motions. Aside from Buxton, it looks like these guys want the season to end. And it's July 3rd. 90+ losses is very much a possibility.
  10. It's 'only' the Marlins but another good start for Sim. With Ober down, Sim pitching well is now a necessity if the Twins want to tread water in the wildcard race.
