  1. Why does this look like the biggest ballpark in the history of baseball?
  2. Okay, Sim. Let's see your best Mikolas impression - embattled starting pitcher with awful numbers - pitches well and gets the win.
  3. No clue but maybe because LeCroy played for both the Twins and Nats.
  4. Abrams is a tough out. Could have been worse. Now it's time for the bats to wake up.
  5. And, yeah, the grand slam barrage from 2023 may have been an outlier not to be duplicated but I think a healthy Royce would have been a really good player for the Twins.
  6. Feel bad for Royce. I think he'll be synonymous with 'what if'... I think injuries were the biggest culprit more than anything else. He worked hard in the off-season to tweak his stance and mechanics - while his stance is different, I don't see too much difference in the mechanics. Looks like he is standing flat footed when he swings and that wasn't the case in 2023. That leg injury he suffered on opening day in 2024 - it set him back big time and it was compounded by other leg / hamstring injuries.
  7. He seems like a good candidate to make a successful transition from starter to reliever.
  8. Rotation: Ryan / Bradley / Ober / Abel / Prielipp Bullpen: Morris / SWR / Festa / Zebby / Klein / Fundy / Banda / Topa I'd like to see that pitching staff get a look at some point - when health allows.
  9. Feel bad for Correa. For an ankle to give out like that during simple batting practice - oofda. And it wasn't even the ankle that scared off the Giants and Mets in 2023. Hoping for a full recovery but between the injury and his age, he faces a really uphill climb.
  10. As frustrating at the bullpen has been, I enjoy the approach at the plate. The Twins have never done this or at least I can't remember the patience and forcing high pitch counts.
