  1. Agreed on Rocco. He should have been fired at the end of last season. Culture begins and ends with the manager. The leadership void is obvious to players. It explains Correa's ill-fated attempt at becoming a de facto player manager and Lopez's comments. They see it every day. They know what the manager does or doesn't do.
  2. Pablo, Ryan, Ober and Jeffers will be gone before spring training '26. It will be a long time before this team has any type of winning culture.
  3. Can't wait to see what the returns are for the impending Lopez and Ryan trades...
  4. Breaking... Pohlad's reversed course. They'll take on minority investors but they are no longer selling the team. What a gut punch.
  5. Yup. Agreed about the potential for new owners. Sale can't happen soon enough.
  6. Is there any chance that Culpepper and/or Jenkins are on the opening day roster in 2026. The rebuild is what it is. But, if you're going to do it - do it right. The last thing anyone needs is the likes of Outman, Roden and Julien hanging around on the 26-man roster in 2026 while the talent stays down in St. Paul or Wichita.
  7. I would love to be wrong... But, I would be shocked if Lopez / Ryan / Ober are on the opening day roster in 2026. The starting pitching 'depth' is going to POOF really quickly. Rotation in 2026... 1. Zebby Matthews 2. Simeon Woods-Richardson 3. Taj Bradley 4. Mick Abel 5. David Festa That looks like the rotation of a 65 win team.
  8. They need to be on the opening day roster in 2026.
  9. For all the angst about the fire sale, this team looks exactly the same as it did.
  10. Pohlads aren't wrong for saving the $26 million. Why not save some money while suffering the 1 run losses?
  11. Carbon copy of a lot of games dating back to the meltdown in Texas last August.
  12. In fairness, this team looks exactly the same as it did before the deadline.
  13. Falvey is a walking word salad. And he's a corporate yes man. I don't believe anything he says.
  14. Yesterday was pretty bleak for the Twins franchise. Now that the dust has settled we see the same thing. A team that has no intention of winning or fielding a contending team. Unless a sale is imminent, you can say goodbye to 2026...and maybe 2027.
  15. I mean, we need something to hope for.
  16. I think Bradley could be really good. Of all the deals, this is the one I can stomach the most.
  17. Taj Bradley. Wow. That actually has some upside. Potentially.
