I think people need to keep proper perspective. The Twins just don't match-up well with the Yankees. Never have and for at the least time being, still don't. If these last two games happened against someone like the White Sox or Tigers, then I'd agree, there's some cause for concern.- 42 replies

Tyner really provided a spark for that run in 2006. Was one of the faces of the 'piranha' squad.

There's just nothing to take away from this series, IMHO. It sucks but it is what it is. Judge is on fire. The Twins are in their own heads at both the plate and in the field. Try to win today and go to Cleveland, which is far more of a measuring stick.

Twins play listless and scared against this team. Lewis is anything but that. So, yeah, I'd like to see him out there when the Twins go to the Bronx. Doesn't need to work miracles. Just give a shot in the arm.

Last year's series won was an obvious outlier. Twins play scared against the Yankees. This is the kind of game where you need Royce Lewis.
