    Really?? 20 posts and no one thinks about Hughes? His last 4 starts have been elite. My first thought when seeing this thread was...what do you mean only one? Perk, Dozier, Hughes could all make it.

    Three great points, although I think if we're using Cola at a bench bat/part time DH there's no problem with him either. Lots of doom and gloom in this thread, like everyone was just waiting for us to struggle for a game or a week and then POUNCE. We're playing .500 baseball and the SP has almost certainly not shown us their best yet. I'm still excited.

    Wonder if the extra time will help or hurt Gibby, or neithe. Intetesting that we're facing a former offensive black hole without our current 2 offensive black holes. Also interesting that we seem to own Greinke, yet he seems to own everybody else. Should be a fun game.

    Not really a true promotion. I'm sure when his suspension is done he will be sent right back down. If there is no rule about this I see no reason to avoid it.

    My recollection is that we offered 75/5 and he took 90/6. Just 1 more year with same AAV.
