  1. IMO I would like them to keep Ryan but it would be interesting to see what offers would be available. If he is to be traded the Twinkies should receive a starting caliber 1st baseman or an experienced catcher that’s not over the hill. Also hoping the Twinkies start allowing players to take ownership of defensive positions instead of moving players around so much. The same thing with the batting order.
  2. IMO put Lewis at 3rd base and 3rd base will be settled for years to come. If Buxton can’t play CF rotate Taylor and Kepler. Perhaps Polanco can DH, 2nd or SS until he is injured or traded.
  3. Bring him up to the Show and let him play a steady dosage of 3rd base and bat him 6th in front of Gallo.
  4. Rocco has his spreadsheets and metrics he manages by whether successful or not. Referring primarily to pulling SP after twice thru the line up and than complains about an overused BP. I wonder how this sounds to FÃ pitchers being limited to 5 innings. A plan is necessary but imo Rocco hasn’t been flexible enough in managing the team he has. IMO the team has no identity
  5. I don’t have names to list but think Twins have 3 areas of concern, 1). The Twins should add 2 RP’s, one being a closer, and hopefully under control thru 2023. 2). The Twins tipped there hand on Correa by playing Lewis in CF, a wrong decision in my mind. Think the plan is to keep Correa beyond 2022, which I hope happens. His leadership impressive, unlike our 3rd baseman last year. In 2023 the Twins may be in the same situation with Lewis. If so, leave him in the infield! 3) I recently calculated that as a team the Twins have almost a 25% strikeout rate (batting). I don’t know what the MLB average rate is but that seems high to me. For a team to be truly successful that strikeout rate needs to come down.
