    I like Hunter, but I also feel that Nelson Cruz may be great. I do not agree that hiring a manager who has been one in the past is the best option despite it being something they did with Baldelli. IN FACT, the last 4 managers the Twins had were 1st term managers. The owners need to create fan interest. Bringing back Hunter or Cruz would help fan indpirstion. Cruz speaks Spanish which would be a plus. At this point, nurturing young players on a team may be the most important issue for the manager. The owner and FO issues are outside of his parameters.

    Hunter will be available in my view. LA is pushing heavily towards Pujols as their next manager.

    I am impressed how well the Twins starters have done the last several games reaching back to the ones against Texas.

    Some people have slammed Jeffers...Vasquez may be better defensively, but Jeffers is batting 261 (31 points above his career average). I wonder how jeffers would be at 1st base.
