    I went to a Twins game in Phoenix to watch them play the Diamondbacks in July. After I parked my car, the attendant gave me a complimentary bottle of frozen water. It is apparently a custom as it melts fast.

    ....the fan base will be there if it has air conditioning....and the convention. promotions, advertising, attendance, will be mammoth compared to Oakland...opposing team fans would rather go there than many other options

    Agree...facility is a strange design,...there are plenty of visitors even in the summer. I will always remember the As heydays with Vida Blue, Rollie, and the gang...it will always be Oakland to me. Now that KC received approval to build a new one...the old-style design is disappearing.
