  1. I did find one thing interesting on Friday night. There were five players in a row with their backs displayed in front of me when I was at the game. Luke must have lifted weights or is lifting weights. His back and shoulders are massive.
  2. Needs to be on his A effort,,,pitches a bit high 1st inning
  3. He can be used as a baserunner to steal 2nd if Buck gets a single
  4. Byron Baby,,,time to get busy.. The Twins have a Byron Buxton-sized dilemma on their hands
  5. I have a hunch that the Twins will win today and take 2 out of 3 from Oakland. Even though I have been pessimistic about Buxton, I predict that he will get a home run over the next 3 days. Regardless, my thoughts on his future and his ability of to sustain durability as a ballplayer is questionable (unfortunately). If there is not a lockdown next year, I will be in SAC to watch the series there. I attended last year and had an amazing time watching a game in a small-time ballpark. I actually sat next to the fenceless side of the bullpen and spoke to a couple of the pitchers. As I have noted in the past, I was at two games this weekend. When the crowd becomes active at Petco, it is boisterous group that can be imposing to a pitcher as well as young players. The Twins looked visibly tired with no idea that they were in a playoff hunt. I do believe that Buxton may be hurt due to the way he was walking and running on the field Sunday.
  6. Well,,,that Astros owner did make a great decision of taking a SS off of the Twins hands last year...something the Twins are still paying for...regardless, good riddance...anybody know how much the Twins are still paying for that salary dump each year?
  7. Unfortunately for you, the team has seven more west coast games next month. SF and the Angels....both teams with poor records.
  8. : He's had significant injuries involving...head → shoulder → back → ribs → hip → knees → hamstring/groin → wrist/hand → foot/toe.as well as migranes..,,...PASS the..BATON PLEASE...He has not appeared in about 45% of games since his debut (huge figure for a cornerstone player)...he can play part time...bring up the kid,,,I was at the game today and saw him limbing a couple of times.. It is probably why he did not attempt a steal. Remember, he fell on his side the other night. I like Buxton....but just because he is the Buck TrucK does not mean you don't sit him if he is dragging
  9. Needs to be on the IL or a part time player until or if he makes a comeback...regardless, I am just sick and tired of thinking he is still the star of the team. Ridiculous
  10. Twins ....well ..longshot..would not place bets...but they need the MESSIAH FROM THE SAINTS
  11. Welll...making my way out of the stands through exuberant Padre fans...this is one of the most uninspired Twins teams that I have witnessed. They look dead....depressing...wild card hopes...up in smoke.
  12. Let's just give them the game on a platter..3 walks
  13. Hold them and hit in the 7th.. getting too close to the 9th
  14. Saw the Twins play the As last year...smaller stadium than the Saints...lockerroom entrance in centerfield...
