    What about Megill? After a good job by the starter it takes him two batters to lose the game. Can’t do any better than hang the fattest of hangers to Judge. Maybe fastballs off the plate a better idea.

    Saved by Miranda. But Thielbar now instead. Now I’d rather Lopez rather to make sure he can’t come in with a two run lead. He seems to think that calls for nibbling till he walks guys.

    I was talking about the previous inning where they had two of them. Both failed.

    I’d like to know the percentage scored in SF situations the last two months or so. I’m sure it’d make you sick. A mental block?

    Lopez hasn’t really been very good since coming over. Tonight no walk so hits a guy instead then gets in the way of an inning ending DP. Shouldn’t he know where his fielders are? Makes it a lot easier not to stick out your glove reflexively.

    Bremer strikes again. I wish he’d just button it about all the great a guys been doing. Then they always don’t do it. I wish he wouldn’t talk about all the great stuff that’s about to happen. Then it never does.

    Bremer just called this the start of a rally. If past is prologue that means it’ll go right down the tubes.

    Sometimes the 8th and 9th inning crunch time comes in the 6th or 7th. Rocco hasn’t gotten that memo.

    I thought it was stupid. Sure turned out that way. Why not not let Ryan try to get out of the inning when he’s pitching well? Bring this guy in instead to hang curveballs. Sheesh.

    Lopez didn’t deserve a save in tonight’s opening game versus Texas. Starts great, gets out, goes 1-2 on second batter and decides to not accept success. Typically starts nibbling and issues the walk that should have cost the game. Wake up! Buzz a representative fast ball in there. Anything. If he hits a homer it’s almost not as bad as a walk.

    You blame the good but dumb pitcher we had in there with one out to get and a two run lead and a 1-2 count who suddenly starts nibbling and walks a guy. I guess if you’re a relief pitcher traded to the Twins you have to sign up to be as dumb as the rest of them.

    Bremer points out this Sandy Leone only frames certain pitches. I like. I’ve always thought framing pitch after pitch only points out to the umpire that you’re framing pitches.
