I so enjoy having Cory back on the radio side for these games! Does anyone know if he will do the Zona games as well?

Fake(and old)news. The 2025 Iowa Hawkeyes averaged over 29 points per game…and a shellacking of the Gophers 41-3 helped in boosting that average! They were offensively offensive a few years ago…. but not anymore. So get your facts straight. Most Gopher fans would trade a nut for the Hawks football success over the last 40 years! Floyd of Rosedale is pretty much a full time resident in the Hawkeye State! So with all due respect sir, carry on.😉 PS. Gophers averaged 23 points per game last season 😮

Now I know you are not new around here…… oh, and don’t call me Shirley.😀

I sure appreciate your experience… but I just have to say this. I am so old, I have never experienced young players not ever playing the game with any thing other than wood bats. Still despise that awful sound off those bats that are not made of wood!

Listening to Herb do this game from 1991 against the Royals in KC. I had completely forgotten that Kirk Gibson played that year for the Royals!

So great to be able to listen to the sounds of the crowd, vendors etc in between pitches. Herb’s pauses were legendary. Something that today’s announcers could use more of…..I’m looking at you Attebery!

Thanks for the heads up about Herb during the rain delay! The voice of the Twins to me! So many great memories!

When anyone disparages Lewis…. you most of the time give a thumbs down..why ? At least back up your thumbs down with your reasoning please.

I remember back in the 70’s whenever we would make the trip up north to see the Twins play, we would always bring back Schmidt beer….with the big mouth bottles and fishing and hunting scenes on the label! Cheap beer and for college kids, cheap was great!
