Uecker is sitting in “the front row” smiling down on his team!

Hang in there buddy! I have been lucky enough to see our beloved Twins be in 3 World Series and win two! It is glorious and the wait makes it even more special! Hang in there!!!

If Miz gets hurt because of this mound…. sad
  4. Tlaker
This is a classic call… especially that most of the folks on here have no idea who this guy is!

Anyone other than owned by the Rupert family will be just fine
  6. Tlaker
It’s Fox!! People it is Fox!
  7. Tlaker
It’s the equivalent of pumping fake noise into a mausoleum of a ballpark 😛

Anyone still believe that 45 cameras can still get it right? nope because it’s impossible unless you can see it from 360 degrees. Maybe someday….
  9. Tlaker
    True still a beautiful play!

Dude…. the camera angle cherry picks the crowd to make it look like that maybe it’s equal. Slow down…. the network has one job to do….. don’t make anyone have an excuse to turn the channel
  11. Tlaker
That’s kinda cherry picking for every network at every game

    Thanks for making my argument

Several on this site that are also on Brewers Daily
  14. Tlaker
I agree but the fake Fox( almost said News) crowd noise is way over the top!😛
  15. Tlaker
Disagree…. baseball fans who happen to be Brewers fans and not necessarily Packer fans, have suffered for 44 years. Let them have this.

How does MLB not show replay of Yelich check swing? $$$$$ on the betting houses?
  17. Tlaker
    Swing?
  18. Tlaker
Not sure how any purists can think that the Trop is anything close to a legitimate MLB park? But aren’t they building something new?
  19. Tlaker
Brewers hitting the ball on the screws….just right at someone
  20. Tlaker
How the hell does it sound like a home game for the Brewers? I know they travel well but I gotta believe that most of that sound is Fox masking the crickets inside the Trop, to keep the nation from changing the channel
  21. Tlaker
Agreed!! And Joe Carter’s and Bill Mazeroski’s and Bobby Thomson’s and etc
  22. Tlaker
Putting the ball in play and scoring runs plus solid pitching can also overcome errors .Not sure if luck has had all that much to do with it?
  23. Tlaker
Putting the ball in play makes for much more exciting game than watching guys swing for the fences or walking. Swinging for the fences just leads to too many strikeouts and boring games.
  24. Tlaker
This times 1000! It is so fun and exciting to watch a fundamentally sound team play this game the way it is supposed to be played! Those that embrace strike out, walk or home run can go pound sand. It’s boring

If being a WS purist means having the two best teams in it….. although since inter league crap happened… it can never be a pure WS again. But any way, yes the two best teams are playing against each other (records). If one is clearly better than the other so far…….so be it.
