    I think you can throw Baez, Story, and Swanson out of the equation immediately. Turner and Seager are the cream of this crop, but I don't think the Twins would pay for those two. CC is damn good and I think we're extremely fortunate to end up with him. I'd hate to think where we'd be without him. He's as valuable off the field as he is on.

    Lewis has to have the worst "luck" of any player I can recall, in my many years of following baseball. The guy just can't stay off the IL for long before getting hurt again. Yeah, I know we have two guys like that, but this is getting ridiculous. Lewis says that he's not optimistic on this injury, and if he feels that way, my guess is that he's gone for another month or longer. Lewis has to figure out a way to keep his legs healthy and stay on the field. Get Lee up here and see what he can do right now.
