microwaved corn is great. Corn left in the husk, soaked in water for a couple of hours and put in campfire coals is the best. Obviously the time, a campfire and lots of beer are involved.

I should have bet on Detroit, then the Twins would win.

is no such thing in Minnesota.

Time to put Juliens glove in mothballs. Supposedly at the end of 2023 Rocco told him he could improve as a fielder if he worked very hard at it. No results yet. I guess he just isn't going to be a good fielder.

Better take two aspirins and three gummies quick!

Gonna be a quick game. A sharp knife cuts faster and less painful that a dull one.

    Julien almost blew that DP.

Ramirez and Rocco go way back to Rocco's Tampa Bay days. That's all we need to know about his roster spot.

Not many games were on TV at that time but I remember Walker having a hard time actually getting his glove on the ball. Didn't Julien play 2nd in college?

If the Yankees get the first pick then yes.

One team playing uninspired, one team hustling. Hustling even on a ground ball 30 feet from first base.

I was told there would not be any math.

Hard to believe but I think Davis's ERA is going to climb up.

    Hit em where they ain't.

Adams looks more confident tonight than he has in the past couple of appearances.
  19. ziggy
    Davis will look eerily familiar.

it's bound to go down isn't it?

Thanks Cody. As a Twins fan since they arrived in Bloomington I now feel that hope for a good team is again lost for multiple years. Hope that David can again slay Goliath. But David just traded all of his rocks to Goliath for pebbles. Pebbles that may some day become rocks but will be cheaper non the less. The wounds of lost hope are still burning and the salve(the supposed overwhelmed by prospects) are no where to be seen except for one, who looks like a deer in the headlights on the MLB field. I know it's still early (where have we heard this recently) since the transactions but this really really looks like a penny pinching/sell for parts move and there is no way around it.

a one run victory that the 'new look' bullpen was able to hold. A nice win for the Twins. It will be a week or so before the shock of Bloody Thursday wears off for me. I guess I held too much hope for the roster this year.

I agree with Aggies7, Clemens is the only fringe guy I want on the team next year. Plus he can pitch......

I can assure you it's nothing proveable or printable on this forum without getting banned.

"The best way to play outfield is to swing that bat". Lenny Green, former Twins outfielder.
