  1. Eyeballing distances isn't my forte.
  2. To be fair, I think even if Sano ran at his top speed the entire time, he would've been out by 5 feet instead of 10 feet.
  3. Yeah, they just showed the replay. He was waving him around and Sano slowed down probably because he was thinking, "what the **** is he doing waving me around?" Buxton would've been out at the plate if he crossed third at the same time as Sano did. There is 0 excuse for sending anyone in that situation, let alone Sano.
  4. Wow. Glynn was waving him around. You gotta be kidding me.
  5. Did Gene Glynn wave Sano around or did Sano blow through a stop sign? Glynn should be fired if he sent Sano.
  6. The Rod Carew story is great and all, but could we get a replay on that inside the park home run instead of 2 minutes worth of footage inside the booth?
  7. I think you're missing a comma on that.
  8. After all the terrible umpiring lately, I thought he was about to ring Sano up on that pitch.
  9. That is factual. 4 or 5 good starts down the stretch here though and he could end the season with a very nice stat line. And even with his clunker starts lately, his season numbers are still well above average. This may also be factual. Unless I've missed it, I really haven't seen anything from the FO on whether or not they were seriously shopping him at any point. I think whether or not he should be here next year depends entirely on what sort of offers we get. No point in trading him just to trade him, but if the price is right, I'd be good with it.
  10. Thats a bit extreme. Prior to this inning, he still had a 3.28 ERA, 1.132 WHIP and 156 IP. He's definitely been trending in the wrong direction though, and I don't think any GM is truly expecting him to put up a full season like the first few months, but he's still got trade value. How much trade value is up for debate.
  11. C'mon Ervin. You're supposed to be increasing your trade value for the offseason.
  12. Sano might just be the best 3rd baseman in the league when it comes to charging in on softly hit balls and bunts.
  13. It is quite clear on tv that he is exactly as far back as his rehab numbers indicated. Which is to say, not even remotely back.
  14. Why are we wasting innings on a 90mph throwing Perkins? Don't we have any guys in the minors who could benefit from some major league experience? He's cooked. There is no way, with his stuff, that he can be an effective reliever without a mid 90s fastball.
  15. We are really bad on the base paths. Which is one thing you'd think Molitor would do well as a manager.
  16. Anything less than 3 non scrap heap relievers acquired this offseason is a failure. Also, spend some money and get Darvish. Realistically, no one in our bullpen this season should have a guaranteed spot next year.
  17. This bullpen...and now we have a 90mph throwing Perkins added into the mix!
  18. Personally, I recommend taking up substance abuse. Much more effective than meditation.
  19. Because Paul really wants to solidify himself as the worst in the league at bullpen management.
  20. Polanco is just making Joe work for that salary. Or that seems like the most logical explanation because its hard to believe a MLB player can't throw from second to first on the fly.
  21. Perkins looks like he's aged 20 years since he last pitched for the Twins.
  22. Rondon would fit in perfectly in our bullpen.
  23. Loser, loser. But I still have leftover chicken for dinner.
