I already asked for pinch hitter for Grossman a few innings ago
  2. jun
Has Molitor sent pinch hitter before the 9th ever? I see other managers do that all the time. Wilson and Grossman need pinch hitter badly. If they don't want to release Wilson or Grossman, they can at least pinch hit for them earlier and often.

Dozier is batting 3rd with his .218 avg. Molitor just loves Dozier and Morrison. They have been batting 3rd and 5th consistently for a while. I would like to see more of Astudillo and Mauer instead.

Super Bobby today I guess. This game might give Bobby a few more ropes though.
  5. jun
I can't wait to see Dozier gone.
  6. jun
Gibson should hit for Wilson instead.
  7. jun
If the FO cannot find anyone better than Wilson to catch in the major league, they probably should resign themselves.

Bobby's contribution in this game so far: passed ball, hit into DP
  9. jun
Bobby is going to start hitting in his dream.
  10. jun
Dozier batting 3rd and Wilson in the lineup. Why are Astudillo and Garver sitting?
  11. jun
I think Rodney is making sure he could challenge Machado in the 9th.
  12. jun
    Agree.
  13. jun
I am sure Morrison can hit 20 more homers in Rochester. Send him down.
  14. jun
Rochester manager probably doesn't want BW in their lineup. They will have to send him further down. He might do better playing with those teenagers.
  15. jun
I would like to find out how many major league clubs would let someone with an average under .220 and OPS under .700 bat 3rd in the lineup consistently.
  16. jun
Put Astudillo in and take either Morrison or Dozier out we now have 7 batters in the Twins lineup with BAs of .260 or higher.
  17. jun
Dozier didn't even bother to swing once last at bat. 2 balls and 3 called strike. I don't think any contending teams would want him in their lineup. He absolutely has no trade value.
  18. jun
It all started with the Wilson Ramos' trade. If Ramos wasn't traded, the Twins didn't have to trade Hicks for a catcher. Hicks and Ramos would look great in this lineup.
  19. jun
It probably won't change much. Wilson has been terrible all season. We are still seeing him more and more. Molitor hardly pinch hit for Wilson. Someone must be in love with Wilson.
  20. jun
Molitor loves to see his favorites on the mound.
  21. jun
    Molitor only trusts his favorites.
  22. jun
Wilson's OPS is under .400 Dozier's OPS is under .700
  23. jun
I think he nailed it. Signing Belisle, Motter, Wilson & Morrison are examples of creating own problems. Unwisely using or overusing bullpen arms is another example of that.
  24. jun
Sure. But save a few players who have hearts though. Trade Lynn, Rodney and Dozier. Extend or sign Gibson, Escobar and Duke. If Rodney is willing to be a set up guy, sign him for another year as well. Giving Rodney a clean inning of work in the 7th or the 8th would be ideal.
  25. jun
Trust me, no other club would let Belisle stay that long without producing anything positive.
