  1. I did think it was funny when Paul Clemens introduced himself to Cliburn after his outing on Saturday. Stu told him he looked good and asked what organization Paul was with before joining, Clemens told him he was with the Padres and he felt he had a great run at the end of the season. Cliburn assumed he meant AAA which Clemens quickly corrected him, "NO I was in the BIG LEAGUES".
  2. No pain since his cortisone shot, he's set to throw in EXST on 4/6 and 4/11. Hopefully at that point he feels up to going 80 pitches. His last start was 33 pitches, so progression usually calls for 50-60 in the next start and hopefully 70-80 in the second start. But if there is any indication that he's not at 100% physically and mentally I wouldn't be shocked if he's in EXST for another start or two.
  3. Yeah Eddie is a personal cheeseball of my own, electric stuff, funny kid. Just hope he got out of this chokehold:
  4. All I'll say is that Kris Bryant took his 2015 K rate from 31% to a 22% in 2016 so it is possible albeit Bryant is a better hitter. Still if Sano can go from 36% to 28% that will make a huge difference
