  1. well that didn't work, doesn't recognize my email, but try to join again and that email is already in use. So can't log in. I'll just assume I lost.
  2. 4 scoreless for Daimond. Can we please get one of our pitchers some runs?
  3. The kid made the cut inspite of some moron!
  4. Brandy for my coffee, please.......
  5. Sano hit a towering Killebrew type blast tonight to tie the game up at 5.
  6. Molitor will see just what he expects from Sano, he's a clutz with a glove. I saw him have 4 and what could have been 5 errors in 2 innings this spring, and 2 in the first inning last night. I met Miguel his first day here in 2010, and lucky me, he gave me his bat. He always says hello and this spring spotted me before I saw him, and came over and greeted me. I just get this hollow gut feeling watching him in the field, he's just not good. A guy Molitor should be watching down here is Kennys Vargas. He's polished his skills at first and can swing the bat. And the way he interacts with everyone reminds me of David Arias so much. They even call him "little big popi". He's one to keep an eye on.
  7. Two things: First, he didn't airmail it to first he airmailed it to home, which was a force play. Second, he made a play that anyone should make, it's just that when he does everyone including the announcer is surprised, and I'm not sure that throw to Vargas was a strike. I know Vargas dug at least one from him on the bounce. He's got miles to go before he can even be considered at 3rd base.
  8. Went to the Miracle game last night. With a 5 game winning streak to start the season, the couple hundred of us there had high hopes. That pretty much fizzled in the 1st inning. Stuifbergen started and gave up two quick hits. But what could have been a nice recovery went south. They say "hittem where they ain't", but here, I'd say hittem to 3rd. Sano got a charity hop grounder and had the runner dead at home but the ball clanked off his glove. So sacks jammed and he gets another charity hop short grounder and good lord he gloves it, only to throw it the 40 feet to the catcher outside the basepath and to the backstop. He just cannot field. 2 errors in the first, 4 hits and 4 runs. After that Stuifbergen did well, allowing a hit in the 2nd and then no more thru 6. The Miracle chipped away, with innings of 1, 2 and then 3 runs to take the lead and hold it til 2 outs in the 9th. With men on 1st and 2nd the batter hit one in the hole to right which Vargas made a great stop of, but the pitcher was late getting to the bag, and when he did throw home, was late to get the runner from 2nd, who scored the tying run. Vargas made a handful of nice digs at first and has really improved. Wickens played short and made a few tough plays look routine, and did drive in the winning run in the 10th.
  9. Max has had another setback and says 2 more weeks. He can't take hitting yet. First he told me a few days, then 2 weeks, then 2 weeks again, and now this. This injury most likely seals his fate at CR for the year.
  10. He's listed on the Extended Roster. Today Austin Malinowski started the game against the Orioles. He had control issues, but k'd the first two batters looking. Then he walked the next two, gave up a single for a run,and got the last guy to fly out. Second inning he also went deep in the count but recorded two more k's. He was then relieved by Andre Martinez. Malinowski is from Lino Lakes, MN. Max Kepler has had a setback and is at least 2 weeks from playing. He still can't swing.
  11. Sheecago drives me nuts. And I don't ever have to hear him say birthday again.
  12. Talked to Hermsen the other day. He said he'll pitch twice more down here and then be ready to go.
  13. Fien in line for the win. Let's eat som Crow.
  14. What? Mauer gunned someone down...........
  15. The over/under 64 wins or thereabouts was a gift. This certainly feels like money..
  16. Mastroianni and his bruised shin isn't ready, and who else would play center? Parm will probably ph if needed.
  17. Just watched the fireworks show after the Miracle game! Time for some twins fireworks.
  18. We're going to need 10 runs tonight.
  19. Left him in just a tad to long today. Liam looks wins in the face and backs away.
  20. So pull him if he fails here. Just can't hold a lead Liam.
  21. I was pulling for Lew Ford to make the roster. So, let's keep on the winning track today, we've got the mo.
  22. Oh, this is going to be great to read these reports. On Buxton, and his gauging hitters, I noticed that in spring trainng. He moves some before every pitch it seemed. He can probably see the sign and know what pitch is coming. Hope he doesn't tip off the hitter, but it's great to see he's thinking all the time out there.
