I will definitely be tuning in to watch Bautista light the place up.

Another note from the Royals broadcast - sideline guy Joel Goldberg said he talked to a guy who talked to a guy who was told John Farrell was going to get Mauer on the All Star team so that MN fans could have both MN boys on the all star team (the other being Perkins).

Brad, in a season short on hope, you have given us one small reason to keep watching. Thank you.

Will it? They've had two 5 game losing streaks just in June. I agree a couple of bats might come around but there are plenty of holes in this lineup still, esp. if they get the injury bug again.
  5. Willihammer
I guess he's the 4th guy up. But still.
  6. Willihammer
    You're on.

The Royals broadcasters were convinced after Zuke took that foul tip off the forearm he'd be removed from the game. Down 6-1, 7th guy due up in the bottom of the 9th, Zuke's till in there.

.556 OPS in May .941 OPS in June. Trending nicely

Parmelee put some good swings on those high fastballs from Duffy. Has he turned the corner (finally)?

    edit: This whole segment...

I think you could make an argument to re-sign or extend any of those 3. It looks to me like the bigger roster crunch will be pitching.

Early 0-2 hole eh? Maybe the Twins can defend their way out of it.

All the sudden Gardy is hung up on infield positioning

    Florimon: 0-16 w/ RISP

I don't think its fair to Escobar either

Speaking of that, has anyone looked at who will be eligible this year (unless rostered of course)? AJ Achter Alex Meyer Deolis Guerra Eddie Rosario Jason Wheeler Miguel Sano Niko Goodrum Reynaldo Rodgriguez Sean Gilmartin Todd Van Steensel Tim Shibuya

Yeah Dazzle got to do his flip-down rant talking about the Florimon drop after the game. Hard to disagree with him. Of course, Pujols wouldn't have scored on the play if he'd not already stolen 2nd LOL.

You would think at 23 million per, Mauer could hit a 5 run homer once in a while.
  21. Willihammer
Who can we get? That is what we should be asking IMO. Any catchers or CFers? Cubs? Rangers? Rays?

Phew, thought I was going to have to change my avatar there for a second
