    That is what you said. Your stance is that the rookies, or forme rookies are better no matter what , so you are no different than I am. Thumbs down mean we disagree, if that is a point you must mention, it bothers you and it should not. I get plenty and take them for what they are. Happy New Year.

    Martin replace Kepler. 🤣but he never played Right Field and was lousy in Center Field. Miranda 9 dingers, Santana 21, but Santana played 30 more games; maybe if Miranda had played 30 more game he would have had those 12 extra dingers.

    Twins platooning did look like a knee-jerk reaction. Should that be changed , YES.

    Double plays from Second base HAVE to be boom-boom quick; failure to do that is why Julien stank there. Lewis is slow and awkward at 3rd base , where he rarely had to make an out there before thowing the ball, he, probably, would be no better at Second than Julien who is horrible. Lewis was much worse at 3rd last year than before, maybe DH is where he will flourish.

    If Lewis is not good at 3rd by what abnormal reasoning do you think he will not stink worse at 2nd.

    MLB is not where you develope players, it is where you separate the wheat from the chaff.

    Then leave them in AAA till they are ready, do not waste time being another American Legion team for youngsters. If they fail, move on, or send them back as many times as necessary. There are many players who excell except in MLB, the Twins seem to find them.

    True but , it seems, right now, Twins rookies do a belly-flop more frequently than other teams.

    They have not forgotten how they stunk for the first month. A level they exceeded in misery in the last month.

    We, all here, have no idea what the Twins Org. actually will or will not do, pessimism rules right now.

    They need veterans to assist/replace barely mediocre rookies. This is Wallner's season to show his is not another Jake Cave, and Lewis' season to show his earlier performance was simply Major League pitchers not adjusting to him as they did in the end of last season. Probably same for Miranda and Larnach.

    With Farmer gone, Martin is the only player they have that would not be an embarrassment at 2nd Base. Martin at 2nd and Lee at 3rd should/might close 2 gaping holes in the infield.

    Vazquez had 4 errors, 2 double plays and 1 passed ball; Jeffers had 6 errors, 0 double plays and 3 passed balls. Defense counts At that, they both collapsed with the rest of the team, but Vazquez had a .245 BA in the last 30 games whereas Jeffers had a .227. Que sera, sera.

    Vazquez holds runners; they run at will on Jeffers. Jeffers and Vazquez below, Vazquez did drop from last year, still much better than Jeffers, try again.

    There is no amount of offense that can make up for Jeffers , run at will, defense.
