    Adding a player like Gasper to the 26 man roster ... I don't like it but it's been done before , I can't believe nobody is arguing his age of 29 years old , like they do about keirsey Jr being 27 or 28 and keirsey Jr probably better at outfield defense and maybe a better hitter with more pop ... It's nothing new for the twins management to give an outsider a chance more than the homegrown player , even during Ryan's tenure it was done , but Ryan had less talent to work with , falvey and Rocco have more talent but just doesn't trust it enough ... 29 year old Gasper wins rookie of the year , anyone on that bandwagon ...

    Once the twins leave sunny Florida and the warm weather who knows what's going to happen , they're bats have been cold to start many seasons in the past , so unless management has changed their spring training effort to get the players ready for the season , I'm seeing more at bats for the regular players that are part of the 26 man roster , past spring trainings they would have the players over on the practice field and try and keep them from being injured in spring training , the team came into spring training very healthy and it looks like management is taking a different approach in getting the players ready for better results to start the season ... Spring training is for preparing players bodies to build up strength and conditioning ....

    Won't matter to me , I won't be spending any of my money at target field until they decide to be contenders and not pretenders ... Won't miss the games though , radio and streaming will cover it for me ...

    Correa is a great shortstop with a strong arm and fun to watch those amazing plays he makes ... That said , one player cannot carry a team to the playoffs , the remainder of the team has to step up ( nine players per game and then the bench ) ... The good , bad and the ugly , we don't know if he can stay off the IL list all season ...

    I doubt this is Lewis's last chance at the hot corner , he's athletic enough and smart enough to overcome the throwing concerns ... Lewis has great pride in being the best , his work ethics will smooth things out ...

    It's really a shame the kid can't stay healthy , he should have ate more vegetables while growing up , can anyone really explain why a player is so fragile ???

    My statement really didn't have a meaning towards the team's strategy , its what they say to the fans in general about the players , they never give up the straight scoop on a player ...

    When I read the title , his name formed in my brain , I've been following this cerda guy ... He most likely is just depth , but if our FO and manager can get past the under performing vets or players ( make a move sooner rather than later ) and need to fill a position and cerda has found his way in AAA , there's a chance he could join the club , injuries hopefully won't be the culprit , if he has earned it , give him or someone else an opportunity to contribute , I hope our players don't struggle but if they do , we've got it covered ...

    I hate it when Baldelli comments on his players or baseball in general , he is full of mularky ... Let the thumbs down come , our FO and manager are much like the politicians , you never get what they are really thinking , just what they think you want to hear ...

    Why would you expect anything else , Rocco hasn't a vocabulary with the word winning streak in it ... Rocco is game to game , he can't even learn the concept of station to station ...

    Awesome , but most will say he's to old to be a major leaguer ... They over look this kids start to professional ball , the injuries that derailed his development , now he's been healthy for the most part the past 3 seasons and has kept earning his promotions in the minor leagues , Keirsey Jr should have debuted earlier last season to know exactly if he can play in the major leagues ... What happened and why wasn't he promoted earlier last season , because we went and blocked him with untalented veterans that just stunk up the roster ... And were doing it again this season , I have more confidence in Keirsey Jr than others on this team ... Talent is a terrible thing to waste And keirsey Jr could be that talent we will never know about in a twins uniform , your never to old if you have the talent and passion to play this game ....

    Cranking out a pipeline of pitchers , nice to be excited about so much talent ... The way it looks , these pitchers will all get a chance in the big leagues but they still have a ways to go before they are solid contributors or they flame out ... Time will tell with healthy and development ...

    Add it sucks if keirsey Jr has a great spring and earns a spot on opening day and the lousy vets get the spot instead ... Put the best team together , this hasn't been FO's MO ...

    Let's salute the talent that played today , 6 hits and 4 rbis ,,, Keirsey Jr keeps hitting , could he make the club and push France bye bye , one never knows ... Pitching had a good game , funderburk went 2 innings and clean , still he most likely will have to earn his way back from AAA , all the pitchers were solid ... Momentum, keep it going ...

    I just looked over the box score , twins had 5 hits , 3 rbis earned ... The france and bader homeruns were solo homers , whoopee ... Wallner batting leadoff , Rocco will never change to a normal batting order , wallners homer had a runner on base so that is the game changer or in his case tied the score ... Keirsey won the game with a hit , the twins 2 wins , the winning runs have been driven in by players most likely to not be on team by opening day , Keaschall and Keirsey Jr .. The biggest ouch I saw was canterino walked 3 and had 2 wild pitches , but didn't allow a run on 25 pitches and only 12 were strikes ... Duran and Varland pitched a clean inning ... Woods richardson started and went 2 innings , threw 33 pitches and 21 were strikes , 3 hits , 1 was a homer and only rbi he gave up ... The main thing is we won , the players need to build on those wins for momentum , every win matters even in spring training ...

    IMO , the last true leader the twins franchise has had is puckett , he led on the field and off the field and was an ambassador for twins in all venues of the major leagues ...

    Joe Mauer , I'm only guessing because it's early and I haven't had my morning coffee ... Keaschall is showing a good bat and reports are he is average with defense , IMO he won't make opening day roster with no AAA experience and also mending from an injury ... I could be wrong , we never know what our brain trust is thinking , I just hope they don't wreck him cause we could certainly use a good bat in the order ....

    If Martin is going to be a solid player , he needs to play alot to grasp the skills necessary , if he is just a platoon player , he might not be any better than an average fielder ... He had a decent , not specular rookie year with the bat ( small sample ) but better than some ... Second base could be another position , the few games he played there , he held his own ...

    The twins supporting cast are only hurting their players potential and that mean less trade value with this platoon crap and not playing their younger player , like others have said , I just don't understand where the FO and Rocco are coming from ... Also I posted a week or so that this platooning crap , we will never see a HOF'er out of this bunch of twins homegrown players ...

    Well according to FO and Rocco the chances are pretty high , as once again they live on hope on a veteran ... Miranda a better hitter and fielder ( not by much ) This team is such a wreck with pohlads , FO and Rocco ... Also I for one was not naive to believe the twins will be sold , they are exploring the sale and now might pull it off the market , season ticket holders beware ...

    Thanks for the article on the games in spring training ... Very encouraged when keaschall finally gets to the show he will be a consistent hitter and produce in clutch situations ... Yes , he's probably a hit first , defense second kind of player right now , but if they just find one position and have him play it consistently , he just might be able to better himself with defense ...
