    The only year I ever thought the Twins tried to put a legitimate team on the field was 2010. Every other season they were content to just be good. If we had made a trade or two to add a second ace or a 3b/ss/2b of high quality I think we could have won a World Series or two. Sadly in-season trades did get better with Bill Smith who added Cabrera, Rauch, Pavano, and Fuentes for nothing. If only this team had been willing to add payroll.

    Jays game today: pop up, Encarnacion falls over the mound, double. Clearly the ball should have been caught. It's not Morrow's fault that Encarnacion can't manage his way around a pitcher's mound. Why should he get punished when it was a routine play if Encarnacion just pays attention?

    Scully just said that he's deaf in his left ear and has been that way since the age of 11. Is that true or is he just making **** up? I've felt like he makes things up for awhile, but I find it odd that I've never heard of that in the ten years he was with the Twins.
