  1. I had the pleasure of sampling their wares about a year ago while attending a cousin's wedding at the "Happy Gnome" in Saint Paul. Had the EPA - good stuff. Had the Oatmeal Stout: http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRLKhMK6Oj3rIFzoXiLKCf1Yll_iYAgNrrQJCS_pquGSrffWWCt5Sk7eQ Too bad it's only available in draught
  2. Peter Banks, guitarist for the rock group "Yes", dead at 65
  3. The only problem I can see with the new site are all of the Summit ads (makes me thirsty).
  4. Receiving a first rounder was huge. And Gernzy was right, having the two first rounders will be big, allows for a lot of flexibility and "creativity" (if the Vikings practice such a thing).
  5. I can agree with you on that, plus the Vikes had no problems creating controversy on their own accord (I'm thinking Lake Minnetonka).
  6. Y! SPORTS While I know the later half of his career was beset by injuries, he certainly would've looked good in purple, especially considering what the Vikes ending up picking for that year.
  7. Have faith my friend, if the Bad News Bears can find a way to win, surely the Twins can as well
  8. One could only hope.
  9. Homeruns are over-rated; singles are where it's at these days.
  10. You would have be like the guy living under the rock from the old GEICO commercial to not see it coming.
  11. Anything concerning the Yankees and Scandel is music to my ears; couldn't happen to a "nicer" team
  12. Boy do I miss this guy. If anything, he kept the likes of Drew Butera from seeing the playing field.
  13. You're joking, right?
  14. I could see this ending up on Jay Leno's "Headlines" bit that he does on Monday nights.
  15. TC would never stoop to such a low, and if he did decide to "do the deed", he would probably just do a hit and run with his four wheeler.
  16. That certainly opens up a slot in my Sunday afternoon routine.
  17. I can help but agree more. When I think back to this past season and envision the Webb performance against Green Bay in the first round, it makes my stomach turn somersaults.
  18. Liked the reaction that the kid got. Really good to see that sports, at some level, are still being played for the love of the game and not money.
  19. Bobby Rogers, founding member of the Motown group "The Miracles", dead at 73
  20. Allan Calhamer, inventor of the game "Diplomacy", dead at 81
  21. Early reports indicate he was cut off by a woman after leaving the Yankees spring training complex in Tampa. Police reports state he did nothing wrong. Hopefully he remembers we drive on the right side of the road in this country. Yankees outfielder Ichiro Suzuki gets in car crash after leaving Steinbrenner Field, walks away OK - NY Daily News
  22. I always liked listening to some of the bands that Kurt Cobain found so intriguing (Flipper, Pixies, The Vaselines, to name but a few). The man was a phenomenal talent in that not only could he produce great music, but he also had a good ear for it as well.
  23. I feel it could all come down to one thing: Has Ponder proven that he can be "The Man"? I do like your Ellerbe suggestion (certainly an area that needs improving).
  24. I always used to use the same strategy at the movie theater; $5.00 popcorn my ***.
  25. Waiting on deck: Hugo Chavez (if he isn't dead already)
