It may just take awhile for everything to take hold. The Royals could continue to improve and start hitting for power like so many of their prospects were supposed to be able to do. It could just be a few years. That's why 2015 is a dream and a foolish one at that. The "Great Minnesota Turnaround" could happen then, but more than likel it will be in 2016/17.

I agree with Jokin on this. I don't think he should be rushed and I'm not impatiently waiting for his MLB debut. However, I think he could really benefit for a couple weeks in the majors in September, and I also agree with Jokin, again, those few weeks will not damage him in anyway. Next season he can start in AA. There is no rule stating that, if you ended the year on the major league roster, you must start the next season on the major league roster. Let him see what the majors are about, and then in the spring, management can judge based on the previous September and his ST if he could break camp with the big club. I'm not saying it is going to happen or that he will continue to rake but if he adjusts quickly to the MLB like he did at A and A+ than what is the point of him getting sent to AA or AAA? Just because that is the norm? Buxton is the kind of player like Joe that you sign and keep for most if not all of his career. A year difference in team control should make no difference. Again, if he doesn't adjust quick there is no harm in him going to AA to start next season. But give him a chance to show if he's ready now. I also like to say that I am completely confused by people's shock that Hicks struggled. It was well stated by most everyone that he was going to be near awful if not awful in the majors before the season started. He has a history of taking a longer time than most to adjust to a new level/challenge. We all new this yet for some reason people didn't seem to expect it once the season started. He should have just stayed up and struggled. He confidence wasn't going to get any worse. He has gone through this at every level, now it starts all over in AAA. That might hurt his confidence even more than letting him stay with the Twins.

Thorpe doesn't appear to need anymore time in the GCL. Really, there is no reason to move him to E-Town this late in the year. I hope they give him the challenge of pitching at CR to start next season (or after time in EST). His age is no reason to hold him back when he seems far and beyond the talent level at the rookie league.

I think DeVries is close also. Spot start Swarzak/Pressly, call up Hendriks and then have DeVries take the spot in the rotation. It would be his opportunity to show that he could be a 6th or 7th man in Rochester next season.

Punto's .263 Average would be good enough for second on the Twins team for players playing at least 90 games. Maybe something can be said about how Punto seems to find himself on winning teams...

Great news and deserved! Hopefully he can start out in Cedar Rapids like Buxton and hit the ground running like he did. Maybe crawl up into the top 10-15 prospect range. That's not my expectations just saying it would be nice to see and fun to follow.

The reason pitchers fatigue at 100 pitches is because they are conditioned to pitch 100 pitches. What is so magically about 100? why not 107 or 93? 114 pitches instead of 100 is not going to blow his arm up. It just isn't. He should have been allowed to pitch until he gave up a run. It a personal achievement that he could hang his hat on forever. It's more than just 8 1/3 or 9 innings. It's a personal accomplishment. No different than Winning the division or being content with the Wildcard. You keep going until its no longer a possibility.

We have had a lot of issues (going on 2 months of trying to close) we have done all the paper work at least twice. It is a flipped home and apparently it is more work to buy than it is to completely remodel.
