1. I believe Tom Seaver has the highest vote % at something like 98.85 or something.
2. We're all amateur GM's here (assuming that TR isn't lurking somewhere), let's try to avoid the unnecessary potshots please.
3. I vote for Chief.

New here

Here's a thread for lurkers and new posters to get their feet wet, so to speak. http://www.twinsdaily.com/showthread.php/9182-Lurkers-and-rookies-please-post-here
5. I'm not even confident that he can turn into a .300 OBP hitter.
6. "Fun" Butera factoid: 22 qualified hitters in the majors this year had a higher SLG% than Drew's career OPS (.491).
7. Click the "Settings" link in the upper right-hand corner of the forum. There's a menu option there for profile pictures. You can either link to one, or upload one.
8. He was effectively a replacement level player in 2010 (+0.2 FG, -0.2 BR), which looks about right given his numbers. Referring to him a "positive" WAR player in 2010 is a little misleading.
9. I voted for Presley. I see some combination of Willingham being hurt, Hicks spending some time in the minors, and DH duties for Hammer/Arcia leading to him starting most games. Mod note, I renamed all of your poll threads.
10. Well played howie, well played.
11. No, no, no, it's #6 org.

13. Details, details...
14. Waivers last 72 hours. I'm guessing that he was waived and DFA'd at the same time.
15. Here's something to consider. Bagwell's career strikeout rate was 16.5%. The league strikeout rate during his years in the league was 16.3%. For a power hitter that took a ton of pitches and drew a lot of walks, that's actually a pretty low strikeout rate. If anything his strikeout rate could be used as positive in his favor, rather than against him.
16. And twice on Sunday.
17. What was the return? And I don't think you're overvaluing him, he's really good.
18. Right now, low 70's.
19. Here are my 10, listed in rough order of personal conviction. • Barry Bonds • Greg Maddux • Roger Clemens • Jeff Bagwell • Curt Schilling • Mike Mussina • Alan Trammell • Tom Glavine • Craig Biggio • Tim Raines Guys I really wanted to vote for, but didn't have room. • Frank Thomas • Mike Piazza • Edgar Martinez • Larry Walker
20. Per B-Ref, Scott Baker's career leverage splits, OPS allowed. Low: .732 Med: .755 High: .690 Cracking under pressure indeed.
21. I know I'm a little late to the party, but this was fantastic.
22. You could try deleting the cookies for the site, that may take care of it.
23.

3.83 era 4.04 fip 4.06 xfip 4.13 sierra

with 1 WAR over his 108 innings last year. Those were luck-neutral numbers as well, expected babip, hr/fb, and lob rates. That's above replacement level, no? *shrug* Whether or not he can do that over a full season, or multiple seasons, is another thing.
24. I'd rather have a wild card like Deduno in the #5/6 starter spot than the guaranteed mediocrity that's been trotted out there all too often over the last few years.
25. Make it happen!
