  1. Boshers in 18 AAA games this year: WHIP: 1.64 BB/9: 5 H/9: 10 The only pitcher less effective and with worst stats in these cats at Rochester was Chris Heston. Mike Freakin' Tonkin and Dietrich Enns look like lights-out AAA- even factoring LHB- relief aces by comparison.
  2. I like the alliteration and the slightest benefit of the doubt for a local boy HOFer, better. But agreed, Falvine have to be taking copious notes of self-incrimination on nights like this to add to the ever-growing Molitor Discard Review file for season's end.
  3. And NOT subtracting a reliable reliever in July wouldn't have hurt, either.
  4. Bad options, for sure. Gimenez is most certainly not a "good" option, but the guy has surprised me on more than one occasion this year with a timely hit. I'd still take the veteran who's actually done it over the September call-up- Every. Single. Time.
  5. This might qualify for the 2017 Twins' epitaph.
  6. More than it takes to change a lightbulb?
  7. Adrianza or Giminez. No-brainer right there.
  8. If the pus fits, use it.
  9. I'm still waiting to see what this "Alan Boshers" guy stuff is like....
  10. Wondering about that myself. Hunch or Math? Indiana? Arko? Anybody...?
  11. What's changed since July 9?
  12. I'm one who criticized the move from the day he was retained by Pohlad, but I never thought a manager could so single-handedly screw up a team's playoff chances by doing the same stupid stuff over and over. Whatever by-the-book manual Mollie's using, time for the bench coach to burn it- TONIGHT!
  13. He'll never top Gardy for post-game pusillanimity.
  14. As complicated as we all make the game out to be oft-times, sometimes it's really pretty simple, isn't it- just get your best player on the mound or in the batters box and let them do what they do best.
  15. He's managin' enough for me to lose my dinner.
  16. Yet another concept who's time should have never come.
  17. That's a lefty too far. Perk is kaput.
  18. ...And then extending that foot... In an upward and outward trajectory...
  19. I just hope to God it isn't Falvine pushing this premise.
  20. When you're struggling with the Mendoza line, it seems impossible NOT to overpay Gordon.
  21. If Corey's upset, will that be the final straw for Mollie's offseason demise?* *(When you've lost Provus....)
