Heh, at the D&B shindig on Wednesday I got caught sneaking some chips before the other people arrived. Promptly was sat in the corner by our hostess. Good chips though. And top-notch service.
Just once. We were organized into 4 squads and played several multiplayer games competitively. My team came in 3/4. But the food and the drinks more than compensated.
Here's some stories on that. https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.php?feature=6756 http://cosmicdiary.org/fmarchis/2017/02/22/wonderful-potentially-habitable-worlds-around-trappist-1/ I was off drinking margaritas so missed the live broadcast. Just think, Van, your grandkids may be planning this trip.
Trying to determine the reality of this. I am skeptical, but also a bit freaked out. Now we have to call him 'The Norwegian Chef,' I guess. Okay, fake, but creative!

I will be able to celebrate one of these on time, for once. My team at work is heading to Dave and Busters for an offsite tomorrow. They have a long margarita menu.
Actually taking a sick day; the humidity from the melt is messing up sinuses. Hot cherry pie does sound really good. Marley and Cody are both curled up on the furniture a few feet away. Glenn's spacecraft was Friendship 7, and it's an exhibit at the Smithsonian now. Need to make it to D.C. sometime.
The day I'll choose to not forget about; February 19th, 1942. http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/75th-Anniversary-of-Japanese-Internment-Invokes-Memories-Parallels-414111433.html
There were so many things wrong with that film; the score was one of the least. And of course they reused that theme for ST:TNG. Maybe that was a better fit.
This isn't actually right, but it's an A+ for making the effort.
