Nice to have a laugher for once.
  2. ashbury
    It's not complicated.

You'd leave in Pressly? I think that's the only other option, unless Drew Butera can be brought up real quick for emergency bullpen duty. / edit: oops, gil4 scooped me.
  4. ashbury
    I'll start holding my breath.
  5. ashbury
    We all do.

Really good three innings from Ryanthony Swarzzly. We need one more, plus a run in the top of the 13th - the offense is really testing the bullpen.

Most women think the Three Stooges shorts are documentaries about men.
  8. ashbury
Mauer's about due for a hit tonight, wouldn't we say?
  9. ashbury
The groin kick avatar proved to be a disaster. Who could have guessed? Switching to a more popular one.

You're killing us, you know that don't you? You're killing us.
  11. ashbury
Oh. You did. I'll leave it as is for now, though the inning did not get off to a good start.
  12. ashbury
OK, if you won't, I will.
  13. ashbury
You need to make this your avatar.
  14. ashbury
The avatar did not prove to be the charm, unfortunately. Dozier leading off with a single proved to be just a tease.
  15. ashbury
If I'm reading the stats page right, Dozier just got the first hit of the season off of Rodriguez. Only 4.1 innings, but still, zero is zero. Or, was.
  16. ashbury
    Me, I'm just intolerant.
  17. ashbury
Did I hear someone say Rally Avatar?
  18. ashbury
    Arggh. Nobody's perfect.
  19. ashbury
Most guys, too. And the ones it doesn't, you should be concerned about.

Did the Brewers not have another lefty to bring in for this situation? I see someone named Gorzelaannneeeeyyyyy or some such who is marked with an L. Already used Gonzalez, no other lefties on the roster. I guess there do exist righties who know how to pitch to lefties, but it still seems strange to be that much tilted one direction.
  21. ashbury
They can do that? This strategy needs to be added to the Twins playbook.

I can kill a man at twenty paces. Or bring a dead one back to life. It's that potent.
  23. ashbury
No no, this was my prediction. And it stunk. Next time I'll have to remember to hold my breath while wishing.
  24. ashbury
Seems to have driven away Parmelee's ability to drive in a run, as well.
  25. ashbury
All right. Florimon steal a base. Parms drive him in. Let's see if I've got Halitosis or whatever superpower RB claims he has.
